“Good centre for touing Lyon”

Good and comfortable room, very helpful and welcoming staff. They need a few more fans for the very hot weather and to complete their renovations of the hotel. Excellent centre for touring the city, very good rail, tram and bus connections and close to Carnot where there are plenty of bars, cafes etc. The room I was in would be improved by having a chair instead of a stool. Room very clean and good shower.

“good place in lyon close to train station”

The room was small but comfortable. The hotel is very close (walking distance) to the train station. There is no much to see in the neighbourhood, but it's easy to take the metro to the older parts of town. Also, there is a very good restaurant / brewery called Georges around the corner.

“Very helpful staff, not an ideal location for exploring the city”

I'd recommend this hotel because the staff were very helpful and the room was perfectly good. Also very handy if you're arriving/departing by Lyon Perrache. My only criticism is that the location isn't very convenient for exploring the city on foot or by bike as you have to navigate under an autoroute and through a coach station to reach the nicer parts of the city centre.

“Good hotel close to the train station”

The hotel is ok and the staff speak in English. Unfortunately it is close to a train station that, despite being very good for commuting in other parts of Lyon, doesn't look extremely safe.

“Lovey lil Hotel, Good location.”

We stayed at this hotel just for a night. We loved the room, as it was painted RED. The staff was very helpful, guiding us through the city map. The metro station is a 2 minute walk and connects well to Croix Rousse and Hotel De Ville. Vyox Lyon is a 15 to 20 minute pretty walk through the city. Overall a wonderful experience.
