“Quality, comfortable hotel for business travel”
I looked a long time to find just the right hotel for my trip. Glad I picked the Doubletree! I traveled to LA for business by myself and found this hotel to be in a good location just a few minutes from LAX and Alamo. I had a room near the 405, but the room was pretty well insulated from the noise. The hotel provides ear plugs within the welcome packet on the table. I was more affected by the noise of the crying baby in the next room. Also, the sleep number beds and pillows were very comfortable. I was able to park for $5 a day. The parking lot has easy access using a self-service parking pass. However, the parking spaces are so tiny that I was constantly worried about my rental car getting a ding in the door. Honestly, it seemed like people just decided to park way off center on purpose, thus eliminating many spaces. So, for that reason alone, I always tried to park in Timbuktu at the back of the lot to avoid trouble. I was also able to get free wifi for my entire weeklong stay for 3 different devices; phone, laptop and tablet. The breakfast buffet and room service is worth it when you have more time. However, I wish they offered some lighter fare for healthy eaters on the go who don't have time for a $20 sit down breakfast. The alternative pre-packaged muffin at the coffee bar is too high in calorie count, so I often just stopped at the grocery on the way out instead. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone as a comfortable, safe, convenient place to stay.

“Book This Hotel!”
This is a really nice hotel. I booked online based on what I could see in the photos- a modern, clean, well designed professional hotel that my family could feel comfortable for 3 days. I was not disappointed at all. Great stay- no "gouge' surprises. Self-parking was a reasonable $12 overnight with in/out privileges available from the front desk. Fantastic pool area, and way, way, way nicer area for families than LAX.

“Pleasantly surprised”
First time to LA and unfamiliar with the area - we found this hotel to be extremely convenient to the airport and a first class hotel. Made to order food at the breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Not far from popular attractions - Hollywood and Santa Monica beach - highly recommend.
“Miss You So Much”
Room needed slight upgrades. Overall, bedding was amazing and housekeeping was wonderful. All of our needs were addressed immediately. The lounge was great too. Amazingly hospitable staff!
“Fantastic Deal!”
What I like was the comfortable bed with white sheets and the updated decor & furniture. It felt like home. I got a very good deal for one night stay as well. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in LA. The only drawback was the fitness room. The machines need some updating.
“A great place to stay”
I wasn't too happy about the parking charge per night but the rate through Expedia was such a bargin for a hotel of this quality...that even with the charge.....it was still a good deal. Will definately stay there again on my next trip to CA. Also, it's only minutes from LAX...made getting back to catch our flight home very easy.
“Better Then Expected for a 3 star hotel”
A very nice hotel, pretty convinient in Los Angeles if you want to go everyday to Venice Beach ou Santa Monica. Is also near LAX what is pretty convenient. As for the quality was better then expected for a 3 star hotel, in overall was a good surprise as for the price/quality ratio of the hotel.
“Definitely Going Back”
I really do enjoy staying here. It's conveniently located to Santa Monical Beach and Venice Beach. The atmosphere at the hotel is delightful.
