“honeymoon”
A beautiful hotel with excellent staff... location was great with tube stops nearby and very helpful staff, the room was quite lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
“London review”
Very good hotel, should put in free WIFI in the rooms not just in the lobby.
“Hidden Gem”
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights on our recent trip to London. Our first 2 nights were at another hotel because I had hotel points to use. When we checked into this hotel, we were so happy to have found this hidden gem! We upgraded to the deluxe room and had a king sized bed and plenty of room to spread out. The bathroom was also spacious. We enjoyed the complimentary wifi in the lobby and continental breakfast in the morning. Only a 5 minute walk to the Earls Court tube station. We would definitely stay here again!
“Excellent London hotel”
We received excellent service from the moment of early check in at noon through to booking the great value transport to the airport. The hotel was clean and comfortable and although a little bit away from the key attractions of London was still close to tube stations. This hotel is excellent value for the rates charged and is whole heartedly recommended.
“Very good.. but not so good”
Hotel is in a very good location to London centre. Short walk to either Earls Court or Gloucester Rd Tube stations. Hotel staff were very helpful. Despite elevator being out of operation on the afternoon we arrived, the staff delivered luggage quickly. Room was very spacious, modern as well as bathroom. Breakfast was a good value "Continental" Only issue was cost of local phone calls which are charged at 50p/minute. Unfortunately, we had an issue with airline flights, which meant we had to stay on the phone for 45minutes, so the phone bill was shock. Overall a very good hotel, but don't make telephone calls.
“My Vaction in London”
Hotel was excellent, rooms were nice and breakfast was excellent. It was a bit of a walk to get to the train station, but from this station you could get almost any where.
“Great little hotel on a quiet street!”
We were very pleased with the Parkcity London. Very friendly and helpful staff; nice room; extra-comfy bed; quiet but handy location! We would definately stay there again!
“Excellent hotel”
Great location close to tube stations, pubs, restaurants and many sights in a central quiet and safe area. Free wifi and cable (in the room) internet, reasonable price. Highly recommended.
“Another enjoyable stay at The Parkcity”
I travel to London at least once or twice a year on both business and pleasure and up until a couple of years ago stayed in various 'overpriced shoebox' sized hotel rooms that were to say the least most unpleasant. I then discovered on the Expedia website The Parkcity and was overwelmingly impressed with it. The rooms are of an excellent size, the large king-sized beds are comfortable, with quality linens and the bathrooms have excellent and powerful showers, again with quality towels and toiletries. The Service is good, without being intrusive. I have now enjoyed 6 seperate stays at The Parkcity and whilst it is not the cheapest of hotels, it does offer great value for money by London standards. My only critiminor sm of the hotel is it's Kensington location, which could be considered a little off the beaten track of the usual tourist sites...the upside of this being that it is very quiet. Having said that it is only a 5 - 8 minute walk to either Earls Court or Gloucester Road tube stations, with a huge choice of restaurants and pubs in the area. All in all an excellent experience !
“Generally good but with a few faults”
This was a lovely hotel in a great location but was let down by the service provided. For example, the computer in the business centre required a log on which needed to be provided by the front desk. When I asked to use the computer, I was told that someone would have to come down and log me on and it would be a huge inconvenience. There was also no printing facilities available. We were also advised that room service would not be available at a particular time even though it was ordered within the advertised hours of service. Despite these things, the hotel was clean, comfortable and well located.
