“TERRIFIC STAY IN EVERY WAY”

I recently stayed at the St. Ermin's while on a business trip. The hotel has just undergone a renovation; it is physically beautiful and unique. The design is warm, welcoming and stunning. Every area of the hotel I saw was just renovated (including the rooms, lobby, bar and restaurant). It's clear the staff takes great pride in the hotel. On more than one occassion a staff member made a point of telling me how the hotel has been restored to it's original (early 1900's) grandeur. The service was outstanding. Everyone I encountered was friendly, eager to help and genuinely interested in making sure I was happy. Lots of genuine smiles as I walked around. The location is terrific; just around the corner from Buckingham Palace. I was able to easily jump on the tube (1/2 block away) or catch a cab. Finally, I had the opportunity to have dinner one night at Caxton Grill, the hotel's new restaurant. It had just opened but was already serving really great food. Atmosphere was really, really nice. Service was spot on and the dishes were excellent. I will absolutely be back.

“Very nice, great location, room small manageable”

The hotel was beautiful. Recently renovated: could smell that new carpet smell in hallways. Great location, walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Westminister Abbey. Right around the corner from the new Scotland Yard so felt very safe. Rooms a little small but overall I would definately return.

“One to remember!”

What a great find - such a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. We enjoyed wonderful service, really helpful staff, great food in delightful surroundings. We didn't really know this area of London and there is so much to see within easy walking distance. The whole experience was such a treat and we will be back for sure!

“Will be back for sure!”

The hotel is in a great location and close to everything. The garden in the front of the hotel is amazing and the inside is beatiful. Our room was very clean and small but expected for London. When we return to London we will be staying at this hotel guaranteed.

“Great Location, great Hotel, very good service”

One of the best experiences my family and I had in many years. I bumped into this hotel in Expedia by a fluke. Never heard about it before. When I figured out the hotel's location (10 min walk from Westminster Abby, the Palace, the Parliament & 25 min walk from LOndon Eye, Trafalgar, Piccadilli and Licester Squares) I immediately understood this is a great find!!! We stayed a week in it and cannot stop raving about it. Great service, extremely cean, and a great price. If they keep it up, I'm sure the price will go up, but still the stay in it is one of the best I had in London in many years.

“Smart Hotel with helpful and polite staff”

I traveled to St Ermins with my family staying in a family room, i had read previous reviews saying the rooms where small, but even so i feel they where adequate for what we needed (especially as we had two bathrooms!), the Queen size beds where very comfy and the whole look of the hotel was very clean and smart, breakfast was buffet, but we also tried the cooked for a little extra which was also very nice. All the staff where very helpful and if we stayed in London again i would definatley go back. Thanks to all at the staff at the hotel you helped us have a very enjoyable short break.

“Simply Lovely”

We stayed there a week ago. The staff is friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The concierge went up and beyond to get us into Buckingham palace (sold out for days) and on a Stonehenge tour. Our room was quiet, clean, comfy and always smelled nice. Then there is the ambiance of the hotel itself...just beautiful. It is a 10 minute walk to Buckingham Palace, right near the New Scotland Yard and a Starbucks! I will stay there again when I go back. Oh and the best part is that the tube is a 2 minute walk away!! Loved it here and miss it.

“Elegant Serenity !!”

It's been a while since I went to London and had the chance to go to see Billy Elliot at The Palace Theatre closeby, so he St Ermin's proved to be a perfect location for an evening stroll to the theatre. From the moment we arrived it was like an oasis in the heart of London, and being close to St James Park was a great bonus to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of London for a while. We were greeted by a lovely doorman on arrival and given a genuine welcome as we walked through their lovely courtyard garden. The Hotel really is out of this world and something one can only dream of finding in London, but it really is there. Service is excellent but unobtrusive, all the staff are polite and helpful and the food on Caxton Grill is fantastic. The hotel has such a tranquil ambience from the moment you step inside, which makes for a relaxing stay in such a busy city. If you get the opportunity to take afternoon tea it really is a fantastic experience and definitely should not be missed.
