“Good, economy hotel”
This hotel is a short walk from the tube station. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchenette/ sitting room was an added bonus. I was able to go to sleep while my husband stayed up watching the Telly in the next room.
“Good and friendly hotel”
I would like to stay when I go to London with family.
“A GOOD HOTEL CONVENIENT TO EVERYTHING”
I enjoyed my 6 night stay at the Royal Court. The room furnishings were old but clean and comfortable and the room was enormous with a good kitchen and comfortable bed and great bathroom. Free wifi is available for use in the hotel lounge off the foyer. You are close to Lancaster Gate Tube station, there are 2 laundromats in the next street and a great pub (The Mitre) around the corner where they serve good value and excellent food. Paddington Station (with a supermarket) is only 5 minutes away, too. A good test of a hotel is how they deal with a problem. Returning late one evening, the lights fused in my room. Immediately, i was given another room for the night with the assurance i could move to that room if the problem could not be fixed next day (it was.) I was impressed with the way they handled this. I recommend this hotel.
“Good location”
Stayed for 2 nights, found staff very helpful and friendly. Location was central and convenient for sightseeing. We were given a newly refurbished room, which was spacious and clean. Having a lift was a big plus! Would come here again.
“Old but great location”
Needs a makeover as pretty old but friendly helpful staff and great location
“Spacious Rooms”
Convenient location. Restaurants are within easy walking distance and several small stores if you choose to use the kitchen available. Rooms larger than most hotels I have stayed at in London.
“Space adequate, needs ltc in the rooms”
The location was convenient and the room space was adequate, by London's standards; however the facilities need to be spiffed up, and care for better.
“Great place to stay 3 days in London”

“Could not wait to leave”
The hotel had a cramped clammy feel and it started with old creaky elevators. Exiting the elevator you came upon clothes or trash on the floor. Hall carpet was worn and stained. Our room had old linoleum on the floor, on one bed there was the remnants of a stain on the side (throw-up?), the bedspread was old and smelly. No air-conditioning and it was difficult to open the window. Management said I did have an upgraded bathroom so maybe I should be satisfied. When we called for a cab I was quoted 16L and a man arrived in an um-marked car so we refused the ride. The desk clekr said that is the ony cab they could get to this hotel. We went around the corner and hailed a cab and the cost was 12L. for the same destination. Location may be great but hotel is the pits.
“"Wonderful Experience!"”
We were upgraded to one of the refurbished apartments. It was very nice. They gave us fresh towels and made up the room everyday. Overall the staff was very pleasant, brought up an extra blanket upon request. Location is walking distance to the tube. Great Indian restaurant around the corner too. Would definitely stay at RCA again!
