The staff were excellent, helpful and always with a smile. Breakfast was good but at times trays were empty. The bed was hard and the springs affected our sleep and left with painful side. Overall it's in a good location and is great value for money

We arrived at 15:15! Upon arrival we gave our details to the member of staff at check in. We were told our room wasn’t ready and would have too wait a further 15 minutes! Considering that check in starts from 15:00 and we also had a reservation at 16:00, this became an inconvenience! We were then told our room wasn’t ready too find out that it was not the room that we had ordered so was terribly disappointed with our first impression! The bed was however quite comfy and the bathroom was very clean and nice! The air conditioning was very useful aswell

Great location and clean room. Mattress was super hard. Despite requesting an early check-in several times, upon arrival there was no room ready for me. Complete lack of hospitality upon arrival. I had to really advocate for what I needed. Personally, I wouldn't stay here again, but it was clean and in a great location, so Im sure if I had encountered nicer staff I'd enjoy coming back.

I mainly chose this hotel for its excellent location, which didn't disappoint. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, I had some issues with the room key card; it failed to work several times, and I had to get it fixed at the reception 4-5 times during my stay. Aside from that, everything was great.

Booked 2 rooms for June 2026. At check in, one allocated room was on the 4th floor and the other was on the lower ground floor. We were told that the hotel was full and if we wanted to change rooms the manager would be in tomorrow. We found this comment rather strange. The room on the 4th floor was OK. The room on the lower ground was quite possibly the worst hotel room we have seen in over 30 years of travelling. The room had no window, and appeared to actually be in the basement. We turned straight around and went back to reception to express our disappointment and surprise at being allocated this room. To be fair to the reception staff, another room on the 4th floor was allocated to us immediately. This was OK. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Nearby Queensway Road has loads of places to eat and there are several Tube stations on the doorstep. Hyde park is over the way. Overall the reception staff were pleasant and helpful enough. However, there seems to be a lack of attention to detail to the customer experience from management - across the two rooms we had 1 x broken TV remote, 1 x missing TV remote, a badly leaking kettle, missing sink plug, lots of litter on the balcony outside the window of one of the rooms, shoddy bathroom maintenance. It’s also the first time we have stayed in a hotel room without either a door peep-hole or a door safety catch or chain. For these reasons, unfortunately, we can only give the overall experience 2 stars.

Pros: Great location close to public transport and right next to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. The evening receptionist was genuinely lovely and helpful. The room itself is basic but in line with what you’d expect for the price in London. Cons: A few issues made the stay less comfortable. My room was directly at the top of the stairs, so anyone using the staircase walked right past my door, which meant noise through the night and early morning. The TV didn’t work at all (neither apps nor live channels). The bed and pillow were very uncomfortable, which made it hard to sleep. The biggest concern was the window: it opened fully with no lock, and as a solo female traveller on the first floor above street level, I didn’t feel safe. There are bins and cars directly below, making it easy for someone to reach. I reported this, but the only solution offered after speaking to the manager was to pay for an upgrade. I don’t think guests should have to pay extra to feel safe — a simple window lock would fix the issue. Overall, the room is very small and no‑frills, which is fine for the price. If the window had been secure and the response from management more accommodating, I’d have been satisfied. As it stands, it’s only suitable if you just need a cheap place to sleep and don’t mind the limitations
