“won;t go back”
I SHOULD NEVER BOOK A HOTEL IN EUROPE BELOW A 4 RATING. THIS HOTEL WAS A 2 OR 3. IT WASN'T THE QUALITY THAT I'M USED TO.
“Good location”
The location was good, the rooms average size, the bed very small.
“ok HOTEL”
This hotel was a long walk from the underground and then we got there with all of our luggage and had to go up 48 steps for the "2nd floor". Needless to say , we will be sure to get a hotel with a lift next time. Bathroom small. beds uncomfortable. Breadkfast was bare basics. Staff was friendly and helpful.
“would not book this hotel again”
access to the room was 3 floors up only by stairs, tiny stairs making very dangerous the access to the room when checking in and out. space in the room was unbelievable small, first time i see a room that tiny. would not recommend to stay in this hotel.
“adequate and suited my purpose”
The hotel was adequate and suited my purpose and was about what I expected for the price. It was in a great location. The reception staff were very accomodating and helpful. They minded my bags while I was out of London for a couple of days. Room was very small and I had trouble fitting my suitycase in. They arranged for me to have breakfast earlier than the kitchen opened so I could go to the airport.
“Not confortable nor for one night !”
I used this hotel for one night and I do not recommend it. I had to sleep in the last floor and i had heavy lagagge and it was really difficult to bring them to the room. The room had a terrible bathroom, I went on summer and the room was extremedly heat and I tryed to take a shower but the water was only heat and i could not get cold water besides the room had a small window which was not enought to acclimate the room. So nothing confortable nor for one night. oh! and when some one walk everybody hear it in the hotel !. The location is excelent but i think you can walk arround and get a better one with a similar price.
“Inexpensive for a Reason”
The goods: A short walk from the train station and many big attractions, the desk was mostly friendly and very helpful, much less expensive than many neighboring hotels The bads: The room was tiny, the bathroom was also tiny, the bathroom was in poor condition with mildew stains, the bed was uncomfortable, the curtains hung onto the bed effectively making it a twin size, the room was about 87 degrees and the tiny window and fan never improved the situation, our room was on the fifth floor with some very difficult stairs, the breakfast was awful
“Not very nice”
The hotel staff was not very helpful, but it did depend on who you talk to. I room was very small and had some plumbing problems. When you flushed the toilet the shower would bubble with smelly water. Very hot in there in the +80degree F weather and the small fan and window did not help that much at night. The breakfast was fine but there is a very limited eating space. It is a cheap hotel and if you are on a limited budget it will work, but you will not get more than somewhat place to sleep and a fair breakfast.
“Great Belgravia Location”
This hotel met my needs for a cheap room at short notice during height of tourist season in London. The hotel is a quick walk to Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station, yet it is in the leafy Belgravia neighborhood where all the houses are white Victorian town houses and have beautiful window boxes. Hence, the hotel is one of these Victorian town houses with five or so floors and no lift. I was in a garret room (attic) that was tiny and had a teeny window and bathroom. However, it all worked and aside from a slight mold smell the hotel was clean and pleasant.
“Jen's Review”
the room was SUPER small (we had a quadruple room for four adults), there was literally no place to put our suitcases in the room. there was hair all over the shower and two of the beds. the breakfast was very meager; cereal and croissants, no hot food.
