“Top hotel”

We arrived at the hotel early and were able to check in straight away as our rooms were ready. We were also given an upgrade on arrival which was lovely. The rooms were spotless and incredibly comfortable. The hotel was easy to reach on the subway and within walking distance/a short subway/bus ride of most of the major sites. Staff were helpful and good to ask for directions to the sites. Bath and shower were both lovely! All in all a great base for our sightseeing.

Excellent hotel in a great location! Walking around was easy from this location as well as subway, restarants and shopping are great.

“Perfect location!”

It would be hard to find a better location than this hotel. Located right beside 2 metro lines, at the beginning of the Pontosho / Gion area which is the best place for nightlife, with bars lining up the cute canal and also beside a huge market place. The rooms were small (Japanese standard) but very comfortable and modern, especially the bathroom, the staff was extremely professional and the breakfast was great. I will definitely go back.

“Will go again!”

Out of all of the hotels I stayed at, this one was my favourite. Every part of the hotel was beautifully designed and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff really took effort to meet your needs and were really kind.

“Excellent value in Kyoto”

A stylish business hotel. Friendly, efficient check-in. Free internet access (LAN) in room. Very attractive room. At the Expedia rate, this hotel was excellent value for money. Convenient, central location.

“Excellent location, lovely hotel”

Really well located, a few blocks from the subway and near lots of restaurants. We got the hotel on a 50% sale, which made it a fantastic deal. We extended our stay twice as we found so much to do in Kyoto.

The hotel is convenient to all attrations. High quality service. Room is very clean and equipted with high technologies. The staff is friendly and speak reasonable English for information. In fact, some of the staff can speak excellent English.

“Best hotel of our Japan trip!”

Fantastic hotel-everything is brand new and top quality. All staff are very friendly and speak English well. Location was perfect-close to the subway (5min walk max) & very central to attractions such as the Gion district and Nishiki market. We loved Kyoto and our stay here was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be back!

Top location. Everything you need is at your doorstep or around the corner. The best shopping arcade in Japan is less than 50 metres away. Looking forward to staying there again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel would recommend anyone to stay there!! Staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel was in a great position lots of shops and restuarants!!
