“Nice convenient location”

Located walking distance to Kyoto shopping centre about 10 minute walk away. Close to Potoncho for cooked food and Nishiki markets for pre-cooked food. Hotel service is good, however they are marketing more to domestic tourists. Because when I aksed for a electricty adapter for my camera, they didn't have any, which is quite disappointing for a international hotel. Would still recommend but would bring my own elect adapter.

When to go
Summer unless you like the cold. Spring for flowers.

Walking distance from train station. 5 mins.
Getting around
Easy train or bus services. Taxi if it is late.
Shopping
Nishiki market and arcades around the area.

“Will definitely stay in this hotel again when we go back to Kyoto.”

The Location was perfect. A lot of good and reasonable restaurants near the hotel. The front desk was very helpful... there was always somebody who can speak english. If you need anything, just ask them and they will always try to help and please you. We will definitely stay in this hotel again next year, when we go back to see the cherry blossom.
