“Just Brilliant!”
Just Brilliant! had a lovely time, really nice hotel great value!
“Ideal base to see Killarney and area”
an excellent hotel in a suberb setting with friendly helpful staff. we spent a couple of nights whilst travelling in the area and we really couldn,t fault in any way
“Great Weekend”
Great time had, hotel room was very spacious for 3 Adults but a bit of foresight on the Reservations would have been a good idea as there was 2 weddings held in the hotel over our weekend holiday and we were 2 floors over the ballroom with an elderly mother.
“OK, but There Must be Better in Killarney”
This hotel has everything you need, but it is pretty functional given their rates. We were there at a busy time and and the stresses showed at times, especially in the breakfast room each morning. It is located about ten minutes walk from the centre of Killarney, right next to the Gleneagle conference and entertainment centre (our room overlooked the car park, which was not a positive feature). The main problem was the complete absence of the Irish welcome that everyone is entitled to expect when they go to Killarney. Until we were checked out on departure by a nice Irish girl, we had not encountered one Irish person on the staff. This to us was an unforgivable aspect of the Brehon. This is why we would recommend finding somewhere else in Killarney.
