"I admit I chose to stay in the Duxton because I used to work there 40 years ago when it was the tax office. My desk was on the 11th floor so I asked for a room on the 11th floor which I got! Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff, particularly Sara at reception. She is a real asset to the business. Give her a pay rise!"
"Fraser Suites is well located with bus transport to the city and the airport. There is a supermarket in walking distance. Parks are nearby for walking. Our accommodation was a studio suite and was well appointed with cooking facilities a small dishwasher and spacious. We would have liked a couch rather than the one chair. The pillow menu information on the bed needs to be upgraded as the 4 pillows supplied were terrible. The carpet needs to be either cleaned or replaced as it was stained in many places. The daily cleaning was very good even if they did forget to replace coffee and toilet paper several times over the week we stayed. We had a view over the river which was wonderful. Beautiful in the morning to see the rowers on the river and at night to see the lights. The front desk staff were friendly and polite at all times we spoke with any of them. We would be very happy to stay here again in the the future as the location near transport and the parks is a bonus rather than the noise of inner CBD."
