“Very tired decor”
The decor was extremely dated. Not at all what I expected.
“very nice intimate hotel, will go back”
We enjoyed our stay, it was very clean, no noisy guests. The staff were willing and happy to please and the hotel had an intimate feel about it.

After a long trip from Melb and not feeling well my 9 yo and I arrived bags in tow to the hotel around 11am. We were looked after extremely well, bags were taken to be stored and we were told they would put a priority cleaning on our room. As it was a beautiful day we wandered along the swan river bank and up to the bell tower. Stunning gardens and parks close by. Around noon we received a call to say our room was ready so we headed back. Our bags were taken to the room and we were able to check in early. Staff were very friendly and helpful, I was most impressed with the service. Found a great 24hour small supermarket around the corner, suprisingly reasonable prices.
“over priced and out dated”
Sorry, but won't be returning. The price we paid for the quality of the hotel was a total disappointment. The rooms are out dated . We found mould in our bathroom and the shower over the bath is a danger for anyone trying to get in and out. The whole room was like being back in the eighties. They do not even have a good range of TV channels and the location looking over the Swan river does not justify the price paid.
“OK, but not great!”
i guess this is a good hotel in perth. i'm probably used to staying in slightly better places. the valets were very good but the restaurant and bar were very sparce.
“Pleasantly surprised.”
Pleasanlty surprised with the Crowne Plaza. The staff were all very friendly and service was excellent. Only negative I can comment on - which may have been a one-off, was no-one on the end of the phone for room service - answering machine - left a message and no call-back. Finally rang the restaurant itself and ordered room service meal and then waited another 40 minutes. Of course by the time the meal arrived I was no longer hungry after a wait of over an hour and a half. Apart from that one glitch I can only say it was very comfortable, quiet, in a good position and very cheerful, obliging staff. Will stay again and recommend.
“Great hotel right on the river”
The hotel was better than expected for the price and located right on Swan River across from the huge downtown park. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were not too firm and not too soft with warm down blankets. There was plenty of room for a roll-away bed that still left a footpath. The bathroom was bright and clean at all times. Water pressure and temp were perfect all times. The staff was very friendy and pointed us in the right direction every time we bugged them. Bikes were available for free to check out and ride to the market area and shopping malls. The only bad things were the daily cost of internet use and the price of the bar drinks. There was a business center with free internet but it was small and cramped. The price of internet in the comfort of your room was worth a few days but not every day. Also, buy your own drinks or bottles and keep them in the room for that cool down drink or pre-game before going out.
“Not for the Business Traveller”
A very 'nice' hotel but nothing special. Decor a little dated - would ahve been nice in the 90's. The business centre is a joke. Not only is there no ability to hook up laptops directly to the server to print, the Word provided by the hotel is over 15 years old! Business travellers who want to print out a document with the last 3 versions of Word have no hope at all. I had to cancel a business meeting - that I had flown from Sydney for!! Luckily the very agreable Duty Manager offered to print my documents! The staff were very keen to help and are the true highlight of this hotel!
