“Lovely hotel, however no free guest parking”
We stayed at this hotel overnight for our honeymoon 6 months previously, and we were very impressed with the room and the service then. We therefore decided to stay again overnight recently, however on a slightly less deluxe deal. Unfortunately we were shocked when we arrived as it turned out to be $50 for valet parking, and $30 if you parked your car in the hotel parking yourself. This was a HUGE shock for us, as previously we had not paid for the parking service. I am not sure if this is a new thing for Pan Pacific or if we had a different deal previously. However be warned- parking is not free! Probably one of the few hotels in Perth which does charge for parking. Apart from that, Pan Pacific is a lovely hotel. The rooms are quite large for a hotel (comparatively to other hotels in perth) and the views of the river are gorgeous. The buffet breakfast in Montrey's restaurant is also wonderful, and service was good everywhere in the hotel. Given the high cost of hotels in Perth, this was not too bad a deal.
“Very nice”
Very pleasant place to stay. Great view over the Swan. On the single occasion we stayed in for room service, we found it very over priced for the average meal that was delivered. Apart from that, great hotel.
“Comfortable,nice rooms and expensive”
The thing I was not aware of was that they require a $100 even though the room was paid in full on the internet.Overall our stay was comfortable and rooms very tastefully decorated.
“Would definitely stay here again!”
This hotel was fabulous! They even upgraded me to a King room with an awesome view! fantastic service, proven when in the middle of the night my 2 year old daughter threw up all over the bed and the night porter came up to bring new linen and take away the soiled stuff! Would love to stay there again!
“staff are excellent”
Just stayed the one night but staff treated everyone as if they were regulars. Very clean and comfortable. Selection of eateries in area not great if you don't want to eat in but this will probably improve over time with the amount of residential development going on in the area.
“Luxury in downtown Perth”
There were a few glitches due to the recent change from Sheraton to Pan Pacific, but overall the hotel was great. Executive room was very luxurious, room service was fast and delicious, valet parking was always friendly and quick.
“Loved the Suite”
I stayed at the Pan Pacific with my daughter while we visited another daughter volunteering in Perth. We had a suite that was wonderful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well as the afternoon tea and refreshments. While we loved the hotel, the rate was extremely high, even for a suite. We weren't able to book a regular room as they were all booked. The location was across the street from my daughter which is why we stayed there. Would probably stay there again if I was ever in Perth.

Perth City Centre, Western Australia, Australia: The country's fourth largest city and booming capital of Western Australia is sprawling, but downtown Perth proper is bounded by the Swan River and the Graham Farmer Freeway and easily covered on foot. Museums, galleries, shopping malls, and pedestrian precincts characterise the CBD, while parkland wanders along the riverfront. The downtown area also encompasses East Perth, a former industrial zone now converted to residential streets, and Northbridge, a restaurant and nightlife hotspot that is also home to Perth's Cultural Centre.
