“So much to see and do!”
Hotel in excellent position close to major historic sites with a tram stop almost right outside the door.Staff very friendly, welcoming, efficient and mostly good English speakers.Plenty of places to eat nearby. Only 5 - 10 minutes away from the ferries and suburban railway station on foot. We had a very happy 6 nights there!
“Great location & good value”
Ideal location, a short walk from all the main sites, and with a tram stop just outside providing access to the rest of the city, including the airport. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Only criticism was that room was quite small. No problem for us but larger people might find it a bit cramped.
“Nice hotel would return”
This was a good clean hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly. The room cleaned and the bed sheets changed daily.the breakfast buffet was always good, with a good variety of lovely food.
“Perfect Location - Friendly Staff”
We spent 3 nights there and it was perfect for us! We could walk to everything we wanted to see and return to the hotel in the middle of the day if we needed to. The staff was VERY accomodating - we made friends and exchanged e-mail addresses with two of the staff members. Our room was comfortable, clean and had a lovely, big balcony, which we really appreciated. We'd definitely love to go back!!

Idealy located for the main Istanbul attractions with friendly staff (although with limited English). The rooms are on the small size but the overall package more than makes up for this (who goes on holiday to stay in thier room anyway?). Excellent value for money.
“Convenient location”
The big plus for the Romance Hotel is its location, just a short walk from the Sultanahmet area which has all the big sights of Istanbul. It's also a short walk down the tram line to the ferries, Spice Market and Galata bridge. Our room was not huge but was very good value for the price with a good buffet breakfast, friendly staff and pleasant lounge area. The only things lacking were tea and coffee making facilities in the room (but there was a fridge) and the pillows were rather hard.
