“A Great Place to Relax”
The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and I had the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. A delightful location right on its own private beach with plenty of loungers, chairs and umbrellas for guests. Staff on the beach would find a place for you to sit and provide towels. There is bar and snack service on the beach as well as an outdoor restaurant for more formal eating. Breakfast was on the rooftop with both hot and cold food available. Food in all resturants was fresh, well cooked, beatifully presented and served with great finesse. Rooms were kept immaculate with linen and towels changed daily. To cap it all the view across the bay is spectacular. Well worth the effort of getting there. Thoroughly recommended.

This hotel had the atmosphere of a small, cozy hotel but the quality of an international one. The staff were always helpful and they provided great tips for sightseeing the island. And nothing can beat the view!!
“Miramar E Castello Hotel on Ischia”
The Hotel complements a beautiful Italian Island. The service is superb and has staff that are able to communicate in a full range of European languages including Russian. The rooms are always immaculate with the Chambermaids always inconspicuous but very helpful. Food quality was excellent complemented by excellent table service. Of particular note is the Bar Service and the Piano entertainment every evening. Both were of the very highest level without being intrusive.
“perfect weekender”
Hotel located on beach and just 15 minute walk from town where restaurants,cafes and beautiful shops entertain you for the evening. Hotel decorated in mediterranean colours and beautiful coloured tiles. Excellent breakfast of local produce taken on roof terrace with views to die for over Naples and smaller islands.Private beach area and "carpet grass" make sunbathing ideal. Beach service slow but staff very helpful with adequate English skills.Dinner on jetty over sea outstanding, food first class.Take flat shoes to walk about, not ideal for children, spa and indoor pool not brilliant.
“Very Good Hotel”
Very good hotel in almost every regard except that there was only WiFi in the common lobby area, not available in the rooms. Of course, you really should be swimming and suntanning anyway, so perhaps this doesn't concern you. Other than that - wonderful location, staff, very helpful and very nice.
“Not impressed”
My search criteria were spa, pool and gym. What I actually found was that the hotel did have a couple of treatment rooms offering lots of radioactive (!) delights in the hot basement, a small indoor pool (also in the basement, although the sister hotel across the road does have an outdoor pool you can use) and a small gym containing one exercise bike, one cross trainer and some weights but no water, natural light or towels to clean yourself and wipe down the machines with. When I asked for paper to wipe down the machines with, it took 5 days! The reception staff were great but the waiters were hard to track down during the daytime. Also the "satellite" TV in the rooms only had Italian channels. It was like no other 5* hotel I have ever stayed in, coming up short in all categories.
