CONVENIENT Walked from airport, the bus to the city runs all the time, stops right in front of the hotel Only complaint is getting the luggage up and down the stairs at the entrance, did not see another way in

In a great location close to the airport and University sport complex. WHile it doesnt offer the variety of entertainment and dining options downtown might, there are a couple of good options just across the street. Also a great price!

“The Views ! Wow”

The hotel is beautiful, if you wanted to be next to the airport its excellant (its only a small airport) the views are magnificent especially from the breakfast room our only downfall was that it was 4 klm from the city centre but the bus is out the front although we drove in and parked in the underground car park but at truly lovely hotel.

“Booked by Mistake”

I booked this hotel by mistake. I meant to book the Penz in city center but I was glad I did. Very clean and nice hotel. Easy bus ride from Train station or city center right to the hotel. The views were great and I was glad to be just outside city center. Breakfast was the very best I had had in Austria and included,

The only shortcoming of this hotel is in the lack of control one has over the temperature of the rooms. in the dead of winter, our room was like a sauna with the only option to cool down being opening a window - when it's -12C outside, this isn't terribly practical. I've read other clients saying the opposite problem occurred in summer, impossible to cool the room down in hot weather. air con isn't cheap to fit but it would solve the only blemish this hotel has!

“I loved this place!”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Penz West. The staff was so friendly, and I knew that they would get me whatever I might need. The breakfasts were phenomenal, and I always looked forward to them. I was on the 3rd floor which is apparently one of the newer floors and consequently housed the newer rooms. The furnishings were modern, but quite comfortable. Wi-fi was free, and you didn't have to sign in which was so convenient. Although it is just minutes away from the airport, the entire hotel is very quiet, and you wouldn't know it by sound. You have a fabulous view of the mountains in almost every direction. I would definitely stay there again.

“Excellent staff that go the extra mile!”

I was planning to stay in the hotel for just a weekend ski break in between a work trip. That soon changed with a ski accident which meant that I had to go to hospital! I arrived back at the hotel after the accident for the night, before having to check-in for surgery. The Hotel staff were superbe - packing up my bags and holding on to them while in hospital, arranging for the return of my rental car, taxis and generally keeping me in good spirits! Now I have returned back to the hotel on crutches for a few more nights and of course I am well remembered by the staff for the drama, but they are very welcoming and going the extra mile to make sure I'm comfortable!! Even though I've faced an abnormal hotel stay - I can easily say that generally the comfort, peace and class of the hotel is excellent. It is just out of the city centre, but a 5 minute drive will get you there and worth it for the peace and personal attention. The breakfast buffet is very tasty and has a nice range to choose from. I stay in alot of top hotels with work and can easily say that the hotel offers great value for money, fully recommended!

“More for business but really welcome families.”

A lovely hotel with really helpful, friendly staff. We had a 5 night stay with our 21 month old son and they couldn't do enough. We walked from the airport to our hotel and we watched the planes come and go as he loves aeroplanes it was great! You would never have known you were that near the airport as we didn't really notice the noise. The bus stop just outside goes straight into town. We also walked to old town which took us just under an hour. I wouldn't stay there if my child was much older as I think it is more for business. Although all the staff spoiled him rotten!! Thank you for a lovely stay.
