“Great little alpine hotel”
The Alp hotel was pleasantly comfortable, clean, and modern! Don't let the outside of the hotel fool you, the rooms appear to be upgraded and were great. The bed is very comfy and the bathroom was very modern. They also provide a TV/computer combo with wireless keyboard that can't be beat. The breakfast buffet was also plentiful and more diverse than the other hotels I had been at in Europe so far. The location however is right off the A12 but a bit far from the downtown Innsbruck nightlife. It's in a bit of an industrial area but the view of the Alps from your room can't be beat! Great little hotel!
“Good Hotel for the price.”
The Hotel was nice and the people were very friendly. The only thing is that you can hear everything when iny our room. People talking through the hallways and even kids crying and tvs above you. If you are there to ski it is a great location with a bus stop out front to take you to the town and the hotel will have the ski rental place pick you up and take you there to rent the skis. The bus for transportation to the different slopes is right around the corner. As long as you are not trying to sleep through the day it's a good hotel. Breakfast was great too.
“Hotel is in an industrial area”
When we turned onto the street in an industrial area of Innsbruck I couldn't believe there would be a hotel but it is there. Its quite a distance from the city center but convenient to the highway. Service was efficient but not warm and friendly, the internet was down and a query to staff was answered with "try tomorrow". The room was clean and comfortable but smelled of new paint, breakfast was fine but not quite on par with other 3 start hotels. During our one night stay it was full with 5 tour buses arriving during the afternoon.
“Wet towels, far from center, musty room”
Minuses: The towels we had were wet, the room had a musty smell to it, the location is pretty far from the center and is without frequently running bus service, and the room was pretty small. Pluses: The room was clean despite the musty smell, the breakfast buffet is really good, internet worked fine.
