Both rooms had balconies, and were fully equipped with everything you could need to either prepare your own meals, or just enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony. “Great cheap option - would definitely go back”

Stayed in the Aparthotel Tropical Garden in June 07 with a group of 8 girlfriends. The Tropical Garden is one of 3 hotels clustered together - it's the one at the back. There is a large pool in between the three and a smaller one at the main hotel, the Lux Mar, where there is also a bar. The rooms were basic but clean with all the facilities we needed - air con, TV, fridge, kettle, balcony, shower. All our twin rooms also had a sofa bed in so you could fit a 3rd person as well. There weren't many Brits when we were there - lots of Germans. Mostly groups of friends stay here, although there were a couple of kids by the pool. It wasn't too noisy, except on Saturday when the package holidays arrive. Not sure if it gets noisier further into the season. The location is great - on a fairly quiet dead-end road by the sea (gorgeous view). Short Walk to a supermarket, taxi rank,small beach, cash point etc. Apparently it was 10-15 mins walk to Ibiza Town harbour area, but we always got cabs (7ish euros). Also short cab ride to Pacha and Space. The only slight issue was parking the hire cars. There is parking along the road outside and a car park at the end of the road, but parking is haphazzard and aggressive! But we managed OK. If you, like us, plan to be out on the beach all day and in the bars/clubs all night, you can't go wrong with this hotel. Particularly seeing as we paid 50 quid per head for 4 nights (2 to a room)! What a bargain!

Nice, confortable and clean hotel, also there is a very nice little nude beach very near called Los Molinos, clean and clear water!! Ibiza is just Fun Fun Fun!!!

Clean, well placed for Ibiza Town and exactly as described. Very friendly staff, and a good pool. Great for a 2 star, safe and near to the beach. Couldn't fault it.

“Good basic accommodation”

We have stayed at this complex on many occassions. The rooms and public areas are always spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and the location ideal for both Ibiza Town and Playa d'en Bossa. It can get noisy in peak season and parking is a nightmare - as it is everywhere in Ibiza these days. If you are looking for somewhere relatively cheap, convenient for town and close to the beach and good bars and restaurants then this is ideal.

“Tropical Garden Apartments”

Fine, basic budget hotel. It's really cheap but not as grimey as other budget hotels. I've stayed here twice now in Tropical Garden apartments and both times have been fine. They're studio apartments so no seperate bedroom but we found it fine for couples of two friends as they have two single beds. Great value for money if you want somewhere cheap to stay but not to break the bank.

This is the second time I have stayed here, great low cost hotel. 15 minutes walk away from Ibiza Town centre. 5 minutes from the beach. Hotel has 2 Swimmings Pools, Bar, Resturant and friendly staff. If your looking for a bargain hotel in Ibiza town this is the place.

“Excellent value for money”

My husband and I visited this hotel from the 1st till the 11th June. It is very clean and modern the staff are friendly and helpful although the reception was often very busy. It's location was very handy as Ibiza town was up some steps about 200 yds down the road. The room was cleaned every day but we never had a change of sheets the whole holiday. I daresay if we'd have asked they would have changed them but it did say they would be changed weekly and as we were there 9 nights we didn't think it was worth it just for 1 night when we realised they hadn't done it after 7. The pool area is lovely but lacks atmosphere as there is no pool bar or music. There is a bar by the pool in the accompanying hotel but we didn't use it. There were not many English people staying at the hotel and we did experience quite a bit of noise from people talking very loudly and banging doors in nearby rooms but having said that there wasn't any loud music or drunkeness, it was just that every sound seemed to echo. All in all for the money we paid the hotel was very good value and would recommend it for young people for it's cleanliness and location.
