This contemporary hotel is just a half-mile from Honolulu International Airport via a complimentary shuttle. Public buses stop right outside the hotel for convenient access to downtown Honolulu, four miles away. “Great for airport access”

We only stayed here for one night, and this was beacause we had a early flight in the morning. Highly recomend it for those in the same situation as they have a free shuttle service which pick you up from the airport and take you back when you leave. Room was small and looked a little out dated, but it did have a coffee machine, microwave and empty fridge for use which was good.

“great location”

We arrived at 10:30 at night and were pleased the hotel was so close to airport. The shuttle was convenient and quick. Have stayed before and will stay again.

“Best Location!”

This hotel offered everything you would want for a one to two night stay in Honolulu. It had wireless internet, luggage storage, free shuttle to and from the airport, and very close access to multiple Bus stops. We stayed there one night and had a late flight out of the city the next day. We used the Bus to access almost everything in the city from Pearl Harbor to Downtown Honolulu.

“Airport Hotel is it's best feature”

The hotel is very well situated for the quick overnight stay between planes. But it is old and in places looking rather run down. It's clean and has Airconditioning but I'd wish they switched it on before we got there as it took hours for the room to cool down, not what you want after a long trip.

“Not luxurious, but a good place to stay the night before an early flight”

Seemed a little expensive considering that the room was a bit out-of-date looking and only basic ammenities were included. It was very close to the airport, however, and the free shuttle runs every half hour 24 hrs per day. The room was very clean. Convenient places for dinner nearby (we ate at a good pizza place; I don't remember what it was called but the people at the desk can help you). Hotel employees were friendly.

“What can be expected from an airport hotel”

Overall, it was convenient and the service friendly. Airport shuttle accommodating and free breakfast a plus as there are no restaurants nearby except for their twin hotel. Room cost is pricey. But the roaches in the room...ghastly!

“Perfect hotel for a HNL layover. easy shuttle service.”

We had an overnight layover in Honolulu and stayed here for convenience.. It was exactly what we hoped for. Good hotel at a good price. Called for the shuttle from the courtesy phone at the airport exit and the shuttle picked us up a few minutes later. nice size shuttle. No problem with large baggage. The hotel is 5 min or less from the airport. And there is public transport into Waikiki or to Ala Moana mall that runs every 15 min or so for $2.50. Perfect! The hotel was simple but clean and service was great.

“Ohana Hotel”

The hotel was very convenient for my travel through Hawaii. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful when I wanted to do some quick sightseeing. Hotel is very close to public bus lines that go all over the island. The only draw back is there is not always dinner served there but that did not inconvenience me.

“Will stay here again - no question”

More than just a basic airport hotel - couldn't really fault the Ohana on any basis - it met all of our needs. Perfect setup for travelers wanting to break the long journey from Australia to USA/Canada. It's a fair way from Waikiki, but that didn't matter to us. And this is no real disadvantage if you do want to go downtown - just catch TheBus from almost outside the front door of the hotel and you're at the beach for the princely sum of $2.50. For the budget conscious stay at the airport hotel - get the free airport shuttle back and forth and use TheBus to get to the beach and back.

Getting around

Use TheBus to get around. Regular services to all areas and you can even circle the Big Island for $2.50
