“Love the pool and service”
Great hotel. Service was superb, room was very good. All in all price/quality ratio is very good at this hotel. Negatives: While the subway is nearby, it is only an entrance and you have to walk a while before you can get on the train. Restaurant selection is very good at the hotel but a tad pricey. Positives: Service was superb. Pool on the roof is a major plus and makes up for the subway distance. A nice swim after a day on the scorching streets of HK is really welcome. All in all this is a great deal on a very nice hotel.
“That's my favorite hotel”
I come to this hotel every time I visit HongKong. If you on business trip or come more often to HongKong this hotel is perfectly located a little away from the very busy streets. It is close to the waterfront anyway and close to a very nice public place where you can rest and have coffee without many people around and walking around you are immediately in the very typical and very original Chinese areas of Kowloon. The hotel rooms are very clean and nicely decorated and offer all comfort you need. The interior is typically for all the Royal Gardens with a very nice breakfast buffet. The hotel offers very good inside shopping areas and several very good restaurants. The fitness center and especially the swimming pool is extraordinary with view to HK skyline.
“Excellent hotel, superb location, excellent holiday”
Excellent hotel with a fantastic location near the Kowloon harbour front. The hotel staff were always polite, courteous and helpful. The hotel is undergoing a revamp on the rooms, however this was hardly noticeable and did not in anyway hamper our enjoyment of this excellent hotel. The hotel has excellent facilities with a beautiful rooftop pool with one of the best views of Hong Kong island. The hotel has many restaurants that are of the best quality, with a wide range of choice. In fact such a good time was had, we are already to go back next year to the same hotel and we have not even been back a week! I would firmly recomment this hotel to anyone.
“great hotel, would have loved to try the tennis courts”
great location, quality selection of restaurants & a bar in the lower levels, the indoor courtyard is a nice touch. room is a bit on the small side, but reasonable given the downtown location...two single beds only, not quite enough for three people. complimentary water & some fresh fruit after the first day. sky club is a good place to relax with it's nice view, pool & jacuzzi, but the putting green is not maintained and the tennis courts are being renovated until next year.
“Royal Garden Hotel in Hong Kong-A Great Choice~”
The Royal Garden Hotel is a great place to stay. It is close to public transportation, the staff was quite helpful, the pool and view on the top floor was lovely, our rooms were well maintained and the price was very reasonable. We would stay there again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Hong Kong.
“I will definitely stay again and thank you.”
This hotel overall such as room, location, manner of staff, cleaness and food etc. It is definite surpass 5 stars standard. The best thing is pay a liitle more to up grade to club access, it's well worth the money, I highly recommand everyone travelling to HK take advantage of this Expedia special club deal it's quite a treat.
“great service from all the friendly and efficient staff at this very comfortable Kowloon hotel.”
Great service, lovely pool area, friendly. Only minor criticism would be paying for Wifi access, should now be included in all decent hotel packages, and 4/5 for location, although the airconditioned subways to the MTR stations were a godsend.
“good location with reasonable price”
convienient location in Koulong district, reasonable rate in this prime area, very proffessional staff at front desk. only some time the door man did not open front door for us.
“Very satisfied”
Clean, convenient, practical. Room was spacious for HK standards. We had a lovely stay. Highly recommend the Don Lai Shun restaurant in the hotel. Only criticism is that the bar fridge wasn't the best (not very cold, we travelled with a baby and my expressed milk kept curdling in it!) Gym was well equipped, other plusses were the tennis courts (although under reno when we stayed) and the pool looked lovely too (although we didn't get to use it). Would stay here again if the price is good.
“Luxury in Hong Kong”
Great room and great bed. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights in October 2011 and really enjoyed the deal we got on Expedia which included breakfast and access to the Club Room. The only negative was that SOME of the staff in the Club Room were not very friendly or keen to serve, whereas the rest of the staff were fabulous.
