“It's a nice place”
The location is good for travelers because the subway station is near and the public transportation system is very convenient. Although the room is smaller than most of the motel rooms in the US, but comparing with Paris and Tokyo I had no complaint. At least the twin beds are big enough for my wife and me. We slept very well. It is located at a quiet neighborhood in the noisy urban area. I will choose this hotel next time when I visit Hong Kong again.
“Good Value”
For the price this Hotel is good value. I took the Transfer Bus from the airport $110.00 HK. 35 mins to the door. Arrived at 11.00pm Friendly greeting. They took an imprint of my Credit Card as security, and gave me the voucher back when I left. The room was small, but I had everything, double bed, Flat screen TV, Internet, Desk with Hotel Info. Meals could be ordered room service. Breakfast from 7 am till 10.30am. Clean modern Ensuite shower room, and of course Air conditioning. Breakfast was good, fruit, yoghurts, eggs (cooked your way) toast jams, together with various Asian dishes. Though as I had a really good price for the room it was an extra charge. Mong Kok station is 5 mins walk, though I decided to walk to the Ferry terminals via Nathan Road a 25 min walk. I will be booking this hotel again.
“I Will Go Back!”
I went to Oriental Lander Hotel 4 hours earlier than the 2:00P check-in time to use their printer (for a cost per page colour or B&W), and was offered to be checked-in early to an upgraded, 3-persons room with a window from my booked, standard, 1-person room. The staff is friendly and dutiful; the hotel and room clean, well-furnished, well-stocked with supplies for living in (e.g. toothbrush, kettle, tea bags, slippers, soap & shampoo, plug adapter, cups & glasses, free internet via in-room cable, A/C, flat screen wall mounted TV, etc.), ambiently lighted. I suggest that, when in doubt, ask the front desk whether certain things will induce extra charges to your bill before you want to do something, like make a call. The hotel is a 5-minute walk (I timed myself) from the Prince Edward MTR (subway) station from exit C2 (keep walking in the direction the exit points to, then turn north (right) at Tong Mi Road. The neighbourhood is quiet at night. :)
“Great VFM”
Excellent location, it was ideal for my requirements. The room was small but you should expect this in HK. They sorted early Taxi to the Airport with no problems. There was no coffee in the room but this was provided after a quick call to reception.
“Good little Hotel for the money”
Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were small bur very clean and comfortable. 5 minute walk to MTR. One Stop away from Ladies market. We had a great time there. We were there 5 days and would definately stay there agian.
“Good Value, Good Location”
The reception staff are friendly. The bathroom, though small, is neatly finished, the amenities inside are of good quality and feel solid. I wish there are more TV channels and the hotel can provide a refrigerator in the room.
“economic and quite convenience”
I am okay with the cost althought he room is so small. They combined two single bed and made it as "double" bed. This was not so impressive.
“Ideal for solo traveller”
Nice hotel, yes the room is small, but it is nice and very clean, ideal for someone travelling alone. 5 minutes walk to the Prince Edward MTR station. Would stay here again!
“very convenience room with the price which we paid !!”
I reach to the hotel at 8 Morning, the check-in time supposed to be after 2 but they could arrange a room for us almost at 11 and that was very nice. The room is very small but is more than enough for 2 persons. I was surprised that they have all what you need in the room they dnt forget single thing. I was going to Sydney and staying there at 4 starrs hotel. byt really this room has facility more than the other room !!
“good location short stay best”
very clean, convenient and safe location, extremely small with very little space for clothes and no place for getting luggage out of way. good for single for a short stay price good rest of hotel good and modern, staff also good
