“Brilliant hotel”

Great location,, friendly staff and immaculate. Only downside is the panel beaters workshops at the side of the hotel, but there was no noise. Would recommend this hotel though for all the excellent facilities.

“Very Grand & the Harbour Grand”

The hotel & staff are lovely with great views from the rooms (on the harbour side). The breakfast is as good if not better than a lot of the more expensive hotels in the world. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - it would be great for families too as it walking distance to the train station (5 minutes). I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends & would stay here again if I get the chance.

“Review of Harbour Grand Hotel”

this is a lovely new Hotel.Great for accomodation in Hong Kong. It's rating of four and a half stars is true and in fact a five is not out of the question. The Reception area, decor, rooms, and outlook are delightful. The staff at the concierge desk were excellent. reception staff were well presented polite ,perhaps a little aloof. The general dinig room was pleasant with a great outlook, and the food acceptable to good. The variety was excellent, however it perhaps still has a few teething problems. I think that in time you could rely on the hotel for decent buffet breakfast. ( At lunch they have a lovely ice-cream section in the buffet and l must say l was dissappointed with the absence of it to have at breakfast with my waffles and Pancakes. The postion of the hotel in relationship to the MTR (Mass transit rail was fantastic(everybody knows the MTRis the key to a great holiday in Hong Kong and this hotel is just a quick dash to the fortress Hill Station, so even in the pooring rain your not going to get to wet making it to the station. The Station itself is a nice safe station which you feel at ease using at any time of the day. Of note in the hotel rooms the absence of pay on demand movies was sad and noted. The bathrooms in the Suites were just lovely, and the crabtree and they provided all the little necessitys for a luxury stay. Notably they did not supply enough fresh soap or replace the toilet paper rolls for you to little issues that they should definately address.

“will definitely go again”

Great hotel, view of harbor was magnificent. Huge bathtub, even for 2, cant wait to stay there again. The location is in residential area, a but there are shops and stores on the main street near subway station. Station less than 2 blocks away. Super easy to navigate. Subway, Burger King, Mcdonalds and 7/11 less than a minute walk. Another review mentioned slow elevators but i never had any problems. There were about 8-10 elevators and never waited for more than a few seconds, but make sure you are watching because with so many elevators you could easily not notice one has opened. Maybe thats what happened to some who waited. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

“Great place, tucked a little out of the way”

I loved this hotel: the room was massive with amazing bathroom and sofa area. It had a huge window with a fantastic view. The gym and sauna and pool (with jacuzzi overlooking harbour) were free and high quality. The service was excellent: instant, polite and unobtrusive. When I wanted to use the internet at 2am they opened the business centre just for me. Also, when I checked in they asked if I'd like to pay a small fee for a room upgrade, when I declined they gave me the upgrade for free anyway. The top floor bar has one of the best views in Hong Kong and isn't crowded, because of the location. The hotel is near Fortress Hill MTR station, which is a few minutes on the train (or 15 minutes walk) to the main shopping/bar areas. This meant it was very peaceful at night and was what I wanted, but if you want to pop in and out of your hotel all day it might annoy some people. Also the surrounding buildings were a bit run down - the hotel is in real Hong Kong. But it's still 30 seconds on foot to the nearest Starbucks / underground train station.

“The Better than grand Harbour Grand Hotel!”

This was my first visit to Hong Kong. I had been looking on the internet for 2 months before I decided on this hotel. I was extremely pleased with everything about this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Hong Kong has a fantastic subway system which makes getting around very easy, fast and inexpensive. This hotel is a 4 or 5 minute walk to a station and the hotel also offers a free shuttle which leaves on a regular basis and goes to the central station where you can get the express train directly into the Airport terminal. All of the restaurants were absolutely great and the staff are wonderful. The front desk people answered every question we had. The hotel is also quite close to good shopping, but we ended up taking the subway since it was so easy to do. The subway is very clean and very fast and quite cheap. The view from our room was awesome and we had a great view of Victoria Harbour. The room service breakfast was great and delivered exactly on time...we especially liked the Japanese breakfast with grilled salmon , eggplant, and rice...delicious! The bathroom was the coolest with a huge jacuzzi tub and shower enclosure. It took a little while to figure out the electronic curtain...but it was pretty cool too! Anyway, I would recommend this Hotel to anyone...great price and great Hotel= Great Value!!

“Best Breakfast Spread Anywhere!”

I had the most fantastic stay at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong. I was upgraded to a suite at check-in. Absolutely amazing views of the Harbour. The breakfast spread at the hotel is definitely the best breakfast I have had anywhere, and I travel 50% of the year for work and stay in 5 Star hotels. I would not hesitate to book further stays at this hotel. The hotel is very close to the MTR - probably 3-4 min walk.
