“Loved it”
had a nice stay.
“Good stay”
We stayed in the Homewood Suites Holyoke to drop off our daughter at Mount Holyoke College, which is about 15 minues' drive away. The suite (I think we were upgraded), was 2 rooms + kitchen. Furniture modern, in great condition. Breakfast (included) was pretty good, selection and quantity - buffet. Free parking. Across street from mega-mall. Easy highway on/off, but far enough away to be very quiet Would stay again, and already have reservation. Many TV channels, free wired/wireless internet. Price, average for neighborhood.
“My preferred choice when I stay in Springfield.”
I like this hotel very much. The rooms are ample and include a complete kitchen. Perfect for long stays or when traveling with a family. The room has the usual coffee service and microwaveable popcorn and there is a small shop for snacks in the the lobby which is open 24 hours. I did not try the complementary dinner which is offered from Mon. to Thurs., but the menu looked good and the offer includes wine or beer. The breakfast (also free) was outstanding: scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, the works. Self-service, and piping hot. The only glitch this visit: I came with my brother and his wife to attend a funeral. We booked separately and were assigned rooms 302 and 424 at opposite ends of the hotel. Our request for closer accommodations was denied, politely but firmly, and the hotel did not seem to be full. Nevertheless I would not hesitate to go back there. The $129.00 fee is somewhat high, but good value once you consider the free parking and the meals that are included. The hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere but is very close to Rte. 91 and you can quickly go to Holyoke, Springfield, Northampton, etc. It also abuts a large shopping mall. It also provides a shuttle service. Highly recommended. Can't go wrong.
“Perfect for weekend getaway.”
We took our kids to the Eric Carle Museum just north of this hotel -- and treated ourselves to a night out at this Hilton hotel to enjoy the pool and amentities. Great decision! Hotel service/location was great -- rooms (suites) gave us lots of room for our family. The pool was the best part!! One downside -- there was NO outside signage -- so we missed the entrance and ended it back over the highway. It was difficult to turn around and back track -- but once we did, all was well.
“Good upscale choice”
The assigned room was large and comfortable. The desk clerk was helpful in suggesting a good nearby restaurant. Breakfast was more than adequate with many choices. The mall across the road would be great for families looking for a pasttime other than TV.

We stayed at Homewood Suites on a recent trip to visit my daughter at college. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was decent. The pool area was nice.

“Highly Recommend”
My husband and I were going to a concert at Springfield Symphony Hall and weren't quite sure where to stay. Reviews on downtown Springfield hotels were a little dicey with exception of Sheraton and Marriott which were too pricey for a one night stay. Based on reviews, chose Homewood Suites. Hotel was about 7 miles from concert (one or two short exits off expressway). Hotel is in an Industrial Park area so really not anything within safe walking distance, but Holyoke Mall is a very short drive from hotel. Hotel has courtesy shuttle that will take you w/in 5 miles of hotel. Although our concert was 7 miles, staff attempted to accomodate taking us to concert, but ultimately timing just didn't work out so we drove. Could not say more about the staff...very, very accomodating. We were surprised to learn upon arrival that on certain weeknights they host a free dinner for guests--nothing fancy or health conscious, but was a treat just the same. They also serve free breakfast, but we slept in and missed it so can't review that. Would definitely stay at Homewood Suites again.
“Very Impressed”
This hotel was everything we wanted and more. The staff was extremely friendly. You could tell by the way they interacted with each other...they really love to work there!!!
“Excellent Stay”
We had a family group of 28 stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The staff was extremely courteous. They recommended a local restaurant "Cal's" and even called to make us a reservation. The faciliies were great for our group. The "breakfast area" was available for playing games and conversation in the evening. We will return to Homewood Suites. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A very convenient location near a big mall and restaurants.
