“Nice hotel, pretty views, good service”
This was a really nice hotel. We were impressed that when we arrived off the night bus at about 6am they had a room ready for us to check straight into. It was also my partner's birthday and a cake arrived for him which was a nice added touch. Pool is very small with less than 10 sun loungers and by midday the whole area is pretty much in the shade - better off to just go to the beach really. Only criticism really was of the very pushy man on the travel desk who was always hasseling us to book trips that we didn't want. Got a bit annoying and had to keep trying to avoid us. Even as we left he was commenting that we didn't book anything! Everything else was good though.
“Free Bikes are a plus”
Hotel itself was great, new. Breakfast was fantastic, rooms clean and bigger than what you would expect for the price. Use of the free bikes made the stay that much better, as they provided easy access to the beach and the town. The hotel is halfway between the beach and Hoi An town. The only downside of this place is that they try wicked hard to sell you tours and it gets annoying.
“decent stay”
if it wasn't for the staff trying to sell you expensive tours and taxi rides all the time this hotel is great. In between Cui dai beach and Hoi an city center. Opposite side of the hotel is a great river restaurant where shrimps and tuna is tasty as hell! Overall good place except for the staff that is.
“O.K. hotel, O.K. location...O.K.?”
This hotel is nice, the staff are nice, the rooms are nice. It's location is next to a busy road, half way between the beach and the town. 10 minute Taxi ride to each. We enjoyed our stay here, yet a couple of the staff we're not as we'd expect in a hotel. One of the staff woke us up at 7am (it was the end of his shift) to tell us we needed to go to visit a tailors with him - that he was on commision for... Not what you need after a heavy night. Nice enough hotel, but wouldn't go back.
“Little sleep hotel”
The location of the hotel is excellent for a trip to the beach or the town, the major cause of our groups dissatisfaction with the hotel was the location of the road to the hotel. Vietnam does not do quiet roads at 6am to 2am....the windows on the hotel were unable to block out this noise. If you do stay at the hotel, take the room which offers view of the fields and not the river, or alternativley drink heavily. The river is great, it is also next to the road. The town is lovely and the beach is to, although prepare to be hassled in a nice but annoyingly won't go away style by the lovely old ladies of vietnam with their 'lucky' tiger balm and tin coffee makers. The food was good and the beer was very cheap, the suits everyone got were good, and no-one was ill, the town was lovely...although be careful on the roads where an accident can happen at any time.
“Nickel and Dime the Guests”
This hotel is quaint and a short taxi ride before the center of Hoi An. Despite the large sign at the baggage terminal which advertises "free hotel transfer" the hotel car is not available and the return is not free. A very rude female hotel manager seems not to understand that providing good service to hotel guests is a greater service than attempting to nickel and dime guests to death. There are plenty of other nice hotels with better locations that I would recommend highly.
