“Great view”

We had a corner room with a great view of the Sierra Nevadas. Also had a view of the school yard below--very entertaining!

“"Would stay in the hotel again if I ever go back to Granada"”

Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Breath taking views of the Sierra Nevada from the roof top.

Central Granada. It's filled with people walking in all directions. It's very lively.

“Not a four star hotel”

This hotel is anything but a four star hotel. It's old, delipidated and not very clean. Rooms are worse than in any oldest Super 8 hotel you can imagine. We could hear people above us, and around us. Every single move. We are not TV watchers, but you should see the antique unit that they call TV in the room. We stayed there for 2 nights and I've regreted every minute of the stay. We left tired and having not slept well at all. On a more positive note.... the views from the restaurant on the top floor are magnificent.

“Very good quality/price ratio”

This hotel has very good quality/price ratio. This hotel was the best hotel during our spain trip. It's clean, functional and in a walking distance to the tourist attraction places with very good rate. I recommend it.

Area recommendations

Marbella: We went Marbella after visiting granada. I recommend it to people who'd be boring after visiting most of historical place expecially in summer. It's very good place for resting at the end of the trip. Ronda: Small, sweet nice city, worth it to see it.

“Very good choice”

Very clean, comfortable modern hotel. Staff was professional, knowledgeable and spoke good English. The Alhambra was a 7 Euro ride from the hotel. Some shopping and a few restaurants nearby. I would return here again. A western style room and hotel.

Area recommendations

The Alhambra is the prime attraction. We went in May and there were relatively few people at the 8 AM opening. Did not finish seeing allll of the sights until 1300

“Great place in Granada!”

The hotel was great! There are lots of places to shop and eat and it's close to the Alhambra. If you're driving be sure and ask for directions - it's hard getting around in Granada. It's very close to the Congresos which is a good landmark. We traveled with our 16 year old daughter and had another separate room inside the room which was great. The view from the rooftop bar is super!

Getting around

Driving in Granada is crazy. It's packed with cars and there are lots of one-way streets. Get to the hotel and put the car in a garage. You can walk to eat and shop. Taking a taxi to the Alhambra which isn't far is a great way to go to be sure to arrive on time if you are doing a tour. If not there are buses.

Shopping

There's all kinds of shopping all around the hotel.

Dining

There is a great place to eat (sandwiches, eggs, tapas) a few minutes away called Cerveceros de Wisconsin ( a beer place) . It's about 3 blocks away - Acera del Darro,74. They give you some food to eat while you're waiting for your order and the servings are huge! They have great french fries and menus in English.

“great location”

“Good Hotel, but expected more for a 4 star.”

The hotel overall was very good. Breakfast buffet was excellent. If you go and est breakfast around 10:00 a.m. it can be consider a brunch because all the things they offer. The lady in charge is an excellent hostess. The room was a little too warm for what you expect, so my recommendation is to say something about it when you register so they can give you a cooler room. The man in the front desk should be more friendly and smile.

Don't forget to go to the Alambra, is beautiful!

“Convenient place to stay in Granada”

There are probably more charming places to stay in Granada, but this hotel is very modern and in a very convenient location with parking right next door. Rooms are updated and quite spacious. Only drawback was that our bathroom smelled moldy. We spent minimal time in the bathroom, so it wasn't a big deal. You're a 10-15 minute walk from the Alhambra and other attractions.

Traveller's tip

If you visit the Alhambra, make sure you book tickets online ahead of time. You absolutely must arrive one hour before your scheduled visit to the Palace. The make absolutely no exceptions if you are late. If you like to ski, you'll love the Sierra Nevadas about 45 minutes away!
