“Coolness in Gothenburg”

Wonderful location and the front desk staff were so helpful when I needed to get an envelope to a dear friend who lives in Gothenburg...... Please....tell them they do a great job.......I think they do anyway.

The breakfast buffet is the best I have had in Europe! Only downside to the hotel was the pillows. They are too soft and don't give much support.

Great location, next to central station and walking access to the downtown area. Clean and professional with great breakfast buffet.

Unusually designed hotel but easy to find facilities, good customer service and exceptional breakfast. The rooms were really quiet and of a good size. The internal balcony meant we didn't have much of a view but that was fine - it was still nice and light. The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food was lovely. We enjoyed the gym facilities at an extra cost and they were all good. All in all, a very good hotel.

“Wonderful”

As we expect for 4-star hotel. Hotel centrally locates and near central station. Only breakfast that we don't satisfy. Only normal intercontinental breakfast such as salami, sausage, bread, omlette. We expect to try some fresh seafood like salmon smoke... Would recommend this hotel to others anyway.

“Great hotel in good location”

Had booked a twin room through Expedia where a smoking room was all they had left. When we arrived we were able to change that to a non-smoking and were also put in a business class room (not really sure how this differed to a standard room but I'm sure a standard would have been good too as the general quality of the hotel seemed very good). There was free internet access at reception and the staff were very helpful when I needed to print something.

“Excellent position”

Radisson Blu Gotenburg is a fabulous hotel, excellent staff , good rooms and in the perfect position for getting around Gotenburg if you only have a short time there, and the Swedish people are really charming. Loved the whole weekend, and the fish is to die for !!

“Caring, understanding staff”

I stayed at the Radisson SAS Scandinavia (Gothenburg) for one night in July 2009. I arrived early (around 10am) having flown over from Stockholm. I tried to check in (I had a pre-paid voucher) but was politely told that I couldn't until 2pm as the hotel was full and no rooms were prepared. I left my suitcase with the Concierge and set out for a wander round a very warm and busy city. After 2 hours I was exhausted, hot and hungry (I hadn't slept all night due to an early flight) so I returned to the hotel and asked if there was anything available yet. The receptionist found me a prepared room and was very sympathetic to a tearful me! I immediately ordered room service and although I was told it would be 20 minutes, it arrived within 10, hot and delicious. I was very late back from the gig that I'd travelled to see and was let in by another cheerful receptionist at 2.30am Next morning my breakfast arrived within 5 minutes of ordering - very welcome. A swift efficient check out and a taxi booked, my stay was complete. I cant rate this hotel highly enough!
