We were particularly pleased with the bedding. loved the down pillows and doona. Also the cleaning staff were very pleasant and accommadating. Very impressed with the pool area.

Lovely long weekend away. Staff A1 - Buffet Breakfast & Dinner - Delightful. Would Recommend. Only regret that we didn't bring the kids - They would have loved it too!!

“Good Hotel - 1 remeinder”

Hotel is good and I definetaly recomend it. One detail everyone must know is that the hotel is located on the high side whivh means you have to cross the high way and walk around 500 meters to reach the beach.

“Wonderful resort for the whole family. A tropical escape right in the heart of Surfers”

This was a long weekend away with my wife and your children. We selected the hotel for its proximity to attactions and the family friendly resort atmosphere. The saltwater pool with tropical fish and beaches was fantastic, grottos with spas and a waterslide made this a great time for all the family. Rooms were getting a little tired but we did not spend much time in them. All in all a great hotel and one that we would again chose when on the Gold Coast.

“Marriott Surfers Paradise”

The rooms were clean and comfortable and room service was relatively fast. The concierge service was very helpful and accurate. We rented a car through the hotel and Avis delivered the car in less than twenty minutes to the front door of the hotel! The hotel has free parking, which is definitely a plus. The pool area is also great, with extras such as a hidden water slide and hot water spas inside secret rocky enclosures, which give it a very natural feel.

This hotel must have been fantastic 10-15 years ago! From it's grand foyer to the fabulous pool area ... But it's looking tired and worn out, and in dire need of a revamp. Having said that - the service was great, and the hotel and the rooms are clean and maintained as well as possible. The mini-bar selection was very limited, but the quality of the food in the hotel restaurants was great. You have to try the Tepanyaki at the Japanese restaurant on the third floor ... pure entertainment! And finally, the pool area is simply fantastic. Snorkling with the fish and the warmth of the pools was inviting and very relaxing. This hotel will be top-notch once they undergo a revamp.

“Comfy beds and what a breakfast buffet!!”

Our stay at the Marriott on the Gold Coast recently was due to a conference we were attending (we secured a better room deal on expedia than the 'special conference offer' that was set up for us!!!) The service was spectacular, all of the staff are very good at what they do. Welcome drink as we checked in, very attentive staff from the receptionist to the porter. The hotel has a lovely foyer and it carries through the entire hotel - except for the decor in some of the rooms. Our room was in a good location (ocean, pool and river views) however the colour scheme and decor is very outdated and needs a renovation. The bathroom facilities are good, big tub, good size shower and plenty of room, however it needs renovating also. The grout in the tiles was discoloured and it just looked old and dated. Apart from that the hotel was a treat. The breakfast buffet is one of the best i've seen in the world. Very comprehensive and diverse in its selection. The swimming pool is also sensational and incorporates a coral reef with tropical fish swimming in it (as a part of the pool) - you can snorkel and view the fish which is very different but lots of fun! I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, views, location and breakfast!

It was so, so relaxing! Spent the entire day by the pool - it was just what I was after for the first day of my week long holiday :)
