This hotel was great!
The owner/operators were kind, professional, and great cooks too! Breakfast was delicious. Room/bed was clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed.
I will be back!
Clean room, liked how they gave us extra supplies on the second night (if we stay more than one night )

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Probably not the best for the more senior among us, 30 stairs up to the bedroom, no lifts.
Room was clean, staff were good, not a lot of choice for breakfast.
Nice clean warm room. Comfortable beds. Quiet room. Guest kitchen available. Hot shower. Plenty of clean laundry. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff. A very comfortable stay.
Lovely, clean room with great amenities including fridge and microwave. Bed was really comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. I had a room at the front but I couldn't hear any noise at night as the double glazing was excellent. Free parking a huge bonus and the hotel was well located to walk into the city. Couldn't fault it and would definitely stay again.

Lovely clean rooms and staff were lovely - thank you for our stay. Perfect location for visiting Gloucestershire hospital as it's so close and walkable.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice room with fridge and microwave.
Hot English breakfast available, and very nice!
Lovely hotel with spacious and very clean rooms. Quiet and peaceful; friendly and welcoming staff; walking distance to the train station, the city centre and the university.
The car park isn’t the largest but they were extremely helpful when we arrived moving one of their cars for us to park. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and even though by the road the noise was minimal. Was very impressed when we arrived to find they had oak milk for my tea. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay again.
Quaint older hotel - rooms on the small side but comfortable, staff was helpful, available breakfast was quite filling.

Lovely little hotel at a great price.
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Despite being a 2 star hotel, they found us somewhere to park and helped carry our bags to our room.
This is a basic hotel, but that’s why it costs a little less. But it is clean, friendly, we had a lovely room and a very good television with loads of options on it, which you don’t get at some hotels.
The breakfast was extra, but it was certainly worth the £8.50. The sausages and bacon in particular were very tasty.
I would recommend this hotel because it’s great value for money. It’s close to the railway station, the bus station, the town centre and the cathedral. It has its own car park and the room facilities are great.
The staff were so great too. So friendly and helpful.
Manager was lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and she let us put our cases in our room even though she hadn’t cleaned it yet.lovely outside space to sit and eat or chat and while away the hours, weather permitting. Parking area at the back which is part of the hotel. Lots of stairs if your on the upper floors. Within walking distance to the town centre which has gone down hill a bit since our last visit.
