“Had an excellent stay”
This hotel is in a great location. The amenities are excellent and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Nice to have a kettle in the room too for coffee in the morning. They do not have bath mats in the shower and the bath was very slippery. This would be my only suggestion as I had to hang on to the shower support in case I slipped in the bath. Would definitely stay again.
“Good location for Frankfurt shopping and Cristmas market”
Location is great for Frankfurt city centre. Just 200m from the S Bahn station and Zeil shopping street. Was in the hotel to dump our bags just 30 minutes after getting off flight and at the shops 10 minutes later. Hotel is modern with fairly minimalist decor. All looked fresh. Room was not big but plenty space to get round the twin beds, table and chairs. I have stayed in many smaller rooms. Room bar expensive but there is a supermarket in the next street if you want to take in your own cheaper drinks. Bathroom plain white but nice with lots of space. It was a proper room not just a screened off area of the bedroom like some other modern hotels. Bath with over bath shower that worked well. Very conventient and would stay there again.
“clean, excellent business hotel near the center of the city”
We booked this hotel almost six months in advance -- we were going to see a World Cup game in Frankfurt, and we wanted to avoid a situation where we wouldn't have a place to stay. Wasn't the cheapest, but it had all the comfort and amenities you would expect from a decent hotel. All staff spoke excellent English, and were friendly and courteous. One guy went out of his way to give us information about Heidelberg (we took a day trip there). It's more of a business hotel, so don't expect any resort type of experience. The best part was the breakfast buffet. It's not included in the price, but it's worth trying at least once. They seemed to customize the menu (in addition to the staples) if there is a large group. When we were there they had Japanese breakfast everyday, and I also saw some middle-eastern breakfast one day. Being a newbie European traveler, I assumed that the internet connection was included with the room. Well I found out the hard way at the checkout.... But the broadband connection itself was smooth (although sometimes slow). Facing a busy street, but the windows are very good -- we were impressed with the sound proof quality. We walked to the Zeil shopping area everyday to get some food or drinks. You can walk to most places around the city from this hotel. Got there from the airport on one 20-minute train ride, too.
“Good location, friendly staff”
Hotel is in a great location if you only have a short time in Frankfurt. The room was clean with very nice-sized bathrooms. Our only issue was that we did not get a wake-up call as requested, but the overall experience was very favorable.
“Nice, affordable accomodations and a great location”
This is a great hotel with great rates. They also have a nice bar, good amenities and are within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again in Frankfurt. Parking was also very convenient, although there was a charge for it. That is to be expected when staying in the city center.
“great value, great location”
I stayed at the NH Frankfurt city during the Frankfurt Book Fair of October 2005, and I throughly enjoyed it. Nice rooms, great service, great breakfast buffet, and best of all, a great rate for a normally very expensive time of year. All in all a perfect score.
“Great Service, Great Hotel...”
Definitely would stay here again. Clean environment, nice atmosphere, and all around a very nice experience. It's located next to a great outdoor shopping pavillion and in the heart of the city. It is also not even 4 minutes walking distance to an underground station. Very convenient.
“Amazing hotel”
Hotel extremely satisfactory. Perfect location in the center of town and very clean and comfortable rooms. Room service food was also not bad.
“Expensive breakfast”
Nice business type hotel and very convienent to town & shopping. Not that far from the river. Good setup for working. Only one complaint...they wanted 18 Euros for breakfast and they claimed there were no other places nearby to get breakfast. I walked 2 blocks toward town and found a nice little cafe/bakery with excellent service and ham, eggs, toast & coffee for 4 Euros.
