“Excellent facility, staff and location”

The Hotel Berchielli is a very nice, charming hotel right on the River Arno. It's location is perfect; it's within walking distance of all major attractions on both sides of the river. The staff was polite and helpful and the rooms were very nice and clean. Like most buildings in Florence, the walls are thin and there is a certain amount of noise throughout the night. However, this wasn't a problem for us. We would definitely choose the Hotel Berchielli again. a wonderful

“Location, location!”

Great hotel right on the river. A short walk (2 min) to Ponte Vecchio. Great staff, clean hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Overnight from Rome”

The 1st thing I can say is the view from the hotel window over the river is spectacular! It's just the type of view you would imagine from a movie or a book of what Italy should look like. Location is extremely convenient to all sights. And breakfast was very enjoyable. My only minor warning is if you get the incredible window view of the river, you'll also end up with some busy traffic and the all the college kids walking home from the bar.

“Lovely hotel in Florence”

The Hotel Berchielli is on the river Arno close to the Ponte Vecchio and couldn't have been more convenient for walking to most of the interesting places in Florence. The breakfast was great and a good start to the day! Hotel staff had good English and were helpful. Try it!

Hotels are so important for those who like taking a short break and in this case we have nothing but praise for comfort, style, cleanliness and friendly atmosphere of the Berchielli. It was an oasis of calm in a busy city and the excellent breakfast will set you up for a day of history and exploration.

Everything about this Hotel was great!! Location...we had great view of river and Ponte Vecchio. Breakfast buffet has everything and more and great quality. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The room decor was beautiful. The front desk and attendants were very kind and helpful.

Not only is the Hotel Berchielli perfectly located in a quiet spot on the bank of the River Arno, just moments away from the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, it has beautifully decorated and furnished rooms, friendly and efficient staff and a generally faultless service. Top marks, too, for breakfast - a excellent selection, from cereals, fresh fruit to bacon and eggs, ham, cheese and numerous breads and pastries. With a breakfast like this, there's no need for lunch! Highly recommended - we would certainly go back.

“Amazing Veiws, Great Location!”

This Hotel was amazing, it had great views, good service and it was in a very convenient place. I would stay here if again if ever went back to Florence, and would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

“Suberb location - more than I expected”

The previous reviews for this hotel were very favorable, however being British, I went with a certain amount of pessimism! I was pleasantly surprised to find that any doubts I may have had were unfounded. The location, standard of accommodation, standard of cleanliness etc were excellent. I had booked a triple room and was expecting to be squashed into one room - not so. We had a two bedroom, two bathroom suite, which looked out over an old church and a terrace. The staff ranged from super friendly and efficient, to maybe slightly indifferent - but, you get that everywhere. I would challenge anyone not to love this hotel and its location, right next to the River Arno and the Ponte Vecchio.
