Hotel Corallo is a diamond in the rough. Highly recommended for an overnight stay. Clean/comfortable/hospitable with ocean views. Outstanding breakfast. Most of the beach properties in surrounding Fregenae have been neglected.

Great place to stay near the airport !
Great place to stay in Rome if you need to stay near the airport. We wanted a place with a pool to cut up a long flight layover and this was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the pool was super nice. The staff were all lovely too. It was unfortunate how the taxis charge almost as much to go here (20 minutes from airport) as they would charge to go to the centre of Rome, but that's beyond the control of the hotel. The hotel charges 45e for their shuttle, and the taxis at the airport charge about 50e.

This property is very difficult to get to. The laid-back staff were nice enough, but didnt follow through with requests. When we requested a taxi ro the airport, they called a friend. He was driving his own car. Staff said it would cost 12 Euros and take 15 minutes. He arrived 20 minutes late and charged 45 Euros. It took 45 minutes to get to the airport. Also, be aware if traveling with children. One of the beds was a murphy style fold out bed that is not secured to the wall the entire heavy piece of furniture fell on my 13 yo daughter when she tried to open it. She has a bruised arm, but it could have seriously injured a younger child. There is a public beach within walking distance with bo facilities. Bring your own towels. The ones at the hotel are like rough pillow cases. Breakfast pastries were good, but the restaurant did not look appetizing and all other dining options are about a km away.

This hotel was actually underrated in my opinion. We stayed in multiple hotels during our trip and we were quite pleased with this one. It includes a nice view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, walking distance to the beach, nice sized parking lot, clean spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and only a ten minute drive to the train station. We used that to take us into room rather than drive our rental van. It was so convenient and not cost prohibitive. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone touring Rome yet wanting to stay outside of the chaos!

Restaurant and staff were fantastic. Absolutely nothing to do in the town of Fregene. I suggest waiting until 2025 when they should have the beaches rebuilt (there is no beach currently as it has all been eroded away).

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff Only little issue is location is in isolated area. Nothing close to walk and get. Except ocean view. Which was great. Breakfast was good but starts at 7:00. Guests who have early morning international flights like around 10 AM or earlier miss breakfast. But, compare to charges to stay it is very nice hotel.

The staff was very friendly however the wifi did not work in our room so we had no access to the internet unless we went down to the lobby for a signal. Also, breakfast was very limited; it did not start until 7:30 am. They did have coffee and cold cereal available available before 7:30, but no hot breakfast items.

Hotel was ok. Staff were helpful and pleasant, but the hotel was a little run-down and the bathroom door was broken. Also a few ants in the hotel room, despite being on the 3rd floor. Nice breakfast and pool, and good proximity to the beach.

Good weekend stay :)
Nice helpful staff and most could talk English well. The beaches nearby are clean and not too busy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sunny weekend escaping busy Rome.

There were loud parties every night that lasted past midnight. Groups of young people arrived on a large bus ran around the halls at night. Boys played soccer in the hall outside our door. The staff was friendly and nice. Location was just off the beach.

This gotel came up from a search I did for airport hotel. The hotel is approximately 20-25 min from the airport so the taci is not cheap. Better off paying for the Hilton at the airport. However, the staff was very nice and the stay included breakfast.

Easy car access from Fiumicino Airport.
Very friendly family hotel easy 15 minute drive from airport. A few good local restaurants and highly recommended if you have early flight or late arrival.

Close to the airport
We chose this hotel as we wanted to stay close to the airport the night before our flight as we had a hire car. It was good to stay in a little beach side town rather than Rome city. It was at the end of the summer so the hotel and town were very quiet. The restaurant was open despite not many people and served nice food.

On Hotels.com this hotel advetrises that it is 2.6 km from the Rome airport. Well, it is NOT !!!!! 30-40 miles away. When I arrived at the Rome airport to return a rent car, I went to get a taxi to this hotel. A number of drivers me that this hotel was 30-40 miles away. One cab driver was nice enough to call the hotel to verify the address and distance from the hotel's front deskHopefully, Hopefully,this hotel will NOT charge me Correct your website Hotels.com

Hotel Corallo - Nice people but bad location
I stayed at Hotel Corallo for six nights at the end of November. Here's what I thought of it: The good: 1. The people there were very, very nice. Only one guy there spoke good English, but the rest of the staff were very nice and were always there to serve me. 2. The price I paid made it a great value. I was originally only scheduled to stay there three nights, but after comparing other hotels in the area I decided to extend my stay at Hotel Corallo. For the price, the room was very comfortable and included wireless internet. 3. They serve breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. I tried a different dish each night for dinner and they were all done very well. And again, the prices were unbeatable. The bad: 1. The location of the hotel relative to Rome and to the airport made it quite inconvenient if you don't have a car. My original reason for staying there was because it was close to the Rome airport and close enough to Rome that I thought I would be able to get to the city easily. When my flight arrived I called the hotel to see if they had a shuttle. They don't, so the guy told me I could take a taxi or take the Cotral bus line. I showed a taxi driver the location of the hotel on my iPhone and he said it would be a 25 Euro ride, so I decided to take the bus. Thankfully the bus driver I got spoke English and told me she could drop me off in the town of Fregene near the hotel. She did, but I still had to walk about half a mile with all my luggage over very rough pavement to get to the hotel. For getting into the city, the Cotral bus line goes from the airport into the edge of Rome where you can connect to other public transportation. But this is the worst bus system I have ever seen. They only came on an average of about every 90 minutes, and even after I had found the schedule, they were only on time 50% of the time. But it was only six euros for an all-day all-zone bus/train transportation ticket. So, I took the Cotral bus from Fregene into Rome and back two days in a row. By the end of the second day I was so frustrated with it that I decided renting a car was the only way to go. The next day, after waiting for the bus for three hours (no joke), I made it back to the airport and picked up a rental car. 2. The town of Fregene is like a ghost town in the winter time. The guy at the hotel said its quite a party area during the summer, but in November it was hard to imagine. The town was very trashy and the pavement was terrible. Nobody walks anywhere in Fregene; they all drive. There are a few sidewalks, but usually cars are parked on them and you'll have to walk in the street. I didn't see any restaurants that looked appealing, which is why I was so glad the hotel served a good dinner every night. 3. The noise. Pretty much the only bad thing about the hotel room is that you'll hear every noise through the walls and the door. The hard floors and walls make every slamming door echo loudly. And on Friday night, it sounded like there was a party going on outside my window until 2:00 AM. There were people yelling and laughing from somewhere - could have been the room next door, or the room above me, or the pub across the street, but I could hear it all very loudly. Overall, I would only recommend Hotel Corallo if you have a car. If not, it's just too much hassle.

Spectacular view, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful dinner, very close to the beach, very nice grocery store near by. It's about a 15 min drive from the airport and about 35 euro but on the bright side you're right on the beach!!!!
