“Carlemany Review, March 2012”

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. We wanted to catch the start of the Volta Catalunya and they were more than happy to look after our bags (even though we'd checked out). Also, the beds were huge! Would highly recommend the Carlemany, also go eat at Nu in Girona

Hotel Carlemany was everything advertised. Helpful front desk. Clean nice rooms. A bit of a drag that so much construction was going on in neighborhood around hotel. Also no reason that a better parking (for $$) could not be worked on. Overall very good and pleasant stay. Would do so again.J

“GREAT CENTRAL BUSINESS & SHORT STAY HOLIDAY HOTEL”

Have been to this hotel every year for more than 10yrs now. The only 2 downsides are the price of breakfast and the closure of the Pati Verd restaurant in the evenings (recession). Bar and refreshments prices are exceptionally low for this quality of hotel.

“Great central location in Girona”

We chose the Carlemany primarily for it's central location in Girona. With the easy access to the GRO(Girona airport) this city was a good choice for a couple of nights stay at the end of a Spain vacation. This city is interesting to explore and the hotel is well situated with easy walking distance between the main train/bus station and the old city. The hotel was quiet and very comfortable. We found the staff more then helpful.

“Very good clean hotel for couples and business use”

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Good for a short break in Girona although we found the city wasn't lively enough for us. Excellent showers with different shower head settings. Big comfortable beds and nice shower gels and shampoo supplied and restocked each day. There are a nice couple of restaurants and bars down in the reception area which we did not get chance to use but always seemed to be busy when open which I guess is a good sign. Very short walk to the train station and bus terminal which are great for links to barcelona on the train or the local airport and beaches by bus.

“Nice hotel”

Very nice and clean room, professional staff. Had a pleasant stay. Once you leave the hotel, there is a walk by the river to Girona old city centre. It's about 20-30mins. Hotel is very close to the bus station where you can get a bus to Barcelona or Lloret de Mar and other bays.
