“Great Hotel, Great Location!”
The staff were extremely helpful and always answered my questions. The area is fantastic, close to two subway stops. The main shopping area and major attractions were all within walking distance. One of the better european hotels that I have stayed at.
“Would stay there again”
Within walking distance to almost everything. The staff were very helpful in giving advice on what to see and how to get there. Very quiet at night.
“Good value for money and very satisfying buffet breakfast.”
We chose this hotel for convenience of all the tourist attractions and it proved to be a very good choice. An added attraction was the offer of a buffet style breakfast which was plentiful Plus, the hotel made available pastries and hot drinks all day, for which there was no charge. Would recommend for this reason alone but everything else was more than OK.
“Our 6th stay at Christian IV, fantastic location.”
Christian IV is a great hotel. Wonderful location, very nice and helpful staff, and a great family type hotel. This was our 6th stay there, so we obviously like it. The rooms are small and there are no frills, but they are clean, the bed is very comfortable, and we didn't feel cramped. They offer a tremendous breakfast (included in the price) -- and throughout the day there is tea, coffee, juice, and cookies that you can have free of charge.. I highly recommend it -- it is a great location, and the price is very reasonable.
“It's becoming my favourite European city....”
Lovely hotel with charming and helpful staff. Decent sized clean quiet & comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast too. The park close by (out the door, turn left and cross the road) is great with some great statues and scultures and a small cafe too. Copenhagen is a great city, a model for others. Yes, it's expensive but makes up for it in many other ways.

What else I can say here, it is extremely satisfied during my stay in this hotel. Thanks to all staff in this hotel. It is highly recommended for others, especially for a short stay in Copenhagen, Denmark.
“Fabulous, welcoming hotel in the heart of Copenhagen”
We arrived early and were pleased to be able to check into our room straight away. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful in answering our questions and providing local information. Having free access to the internet in the hotel lounge was really useful, and having fresh tea, coffee, fruit and nibbles 24 hours a day was a welcome bonus. The breakfast buffet is good too with a wide variety of meats, cheeses, breads and fruit. Excellent value for money. The hotel itself is in a quiet street close to the Rosenborg Castle, and it's an easy walk to the many museums, art galleries, and sites of interest. Also there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. I would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Christian IV. We'll be staying here the next time we visit Copenhagen.
“Lovely hotel”
We stayed here for 2 nights and we couldn't fault it. In a great location - 5 minutes walk from the metro station, which was only 15 mins from the airport. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Cosy sitting area with free tea/coffee/juice/biscuits and fruit. Tasty breakfast. Nice area and easy to walk to shops and attractions. Would definitely go back.
