“Excellent”
We couldn't have been happier with the quality, service and location of this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Great room, and social areas, and fabulous breakfast.
“Excellent base for staying in Copenhagen”
We found this hotel to be in an excellent location for our visit to Copenhagen, either for walking or using the Metro at the nearby Kongens Nytorv (a direct line to the airport). The reception staff were efficient and courteous and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was plentiful with a good choice of dishes.
“Good location in Copenhagen”
This was my second visit to Copenhagen so location was high on my list, and this hotel met that. It is located on a quiet street just a few minute walk from the restaurants and activity of Nyhaven. If you are a walker you can reach most of the major tourist highlights on foot. You see so much more by walking. We spent 5 days and found the hotel to be a good deal. The breakfast is very good and a bargain when compared to the high Copenhagen food costs. Overall a good deal for the money. Keep in mind, this is not a luxury hotel, but it is a good deal.
“Great Hotel, excellent location”
Hotel was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is excellently located for the city centre and Nyhaven. And only a 15-20minute walk to the little mermaid.

The hotel was all that could be expected of a Best Western Hotel and I will use this hotel as my preferred stopover when I am in Copenhagen for business or Leisure.

stayed for two nights with my Mum. We arrived early and much to our delight our room was ready. Simple check in and very friendly, efficient staff. Lifts to our third floor twin room met with our requests. Not a massive room but warm,cosy and modern with AMAZING underfloor bathroom heating! Wonderfully comfy beds, 2 greats nights sleep with no noise disruption. Delicious breakfast with wide choice to suit every taste, very fresh. Very clean hotel. Ideal location close to Nyhavn and walkable from main train staion. Good TV in room and furnishings. Only minus was that the shower was rather small but we managed (and we are slim!) Great two night break. Would use this hotel again.
“Great hotel, great location, great city!”
The Best Western City Hotel in Copenhagen was a wonderful hotel. A breakfast was included in our room rate and the breakfast included just about all you could hope for--breads, sweet rolls (delicious!), fresh fruit, a variety of meats, salads, bacon, sausage, eggs, cereals, yogurt, a variety of juices, coffee, and tea and probably other items that I can't remember. The food was plentiful and it was "all you can eat". The service at breakfast was very good and the servers were very friendly. Our room was small but was quite adequate for our needs. We had a bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower which suited us just fine. It was very clean and the tile floor was heated--a very nice touch! The location of the hotel was perfect for sight seeing. We could walk just about everywhere, but if we needed to go a bit further, the metro stop was only a few blocks away. The metro will take you right to the airport. There were many restaurants nearby, plus the pedestrian mall was very close by. Being able to stay in a nice hotel in the city center with a huge breakfast buffet included for a reasonable rate was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel.
“delighted with a wonderful trip”
stayed at Hotel City for 2 nights after travelling to Copenhagen to see Take That in concert. What a great place. The hotel was well located, easy walking distance to many attractions. The room was spacious and very comfortable, in fact the bed was better than my one at home. Nice shower/toilet ensuite. Breakfast included in the tariff was first class, we ate enough to keep us going until the evening. all the staff so helpful. Great to have free wireless internet for my smartphone. Can't fault this hotel and will be returning!
