“wouldn't change a thing”
I didn't know what to expect but found much more than I could possibly imagine. I am not a traveler per se, but considering I had a child with me things just couldn't have been any better. The food both in the morning and again in the evening was great. I cannot think of anything that we missed out on. The services provided were excellent and affordable.
“Very Satisfied”
Hotel was very accomodating, we were with a group including 85 teenagers with parents and they work with us as we needed.
“Larry Flinner”
Good hotel. Good location. Only problem was the renovation of breakfast area. Would be congested with new design. Liked the way it was before.
“We will be back.”
Everything was great.
“I'm telling all my family and friends in Australia how awesome it was!!”
I stayed by myself at The Drury Inn Collinsville this past weekend. I couldn't wait to share the wonderful experience I had. My room was comfortable and clean, the price is phenomenally low considering all of the services and freebies provided. The hotel staff could not do enough for me! The free hot breakfast included scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, hot coffee, a waffle maker, donuts, and so many other items that I can't remember. Dinner was a selection of different food types as well as three free drinks per person. The waitstaff are attentive and seemed genuinely interested. When I got back to my room the first night, there was even a message from the manager asking if everyone was treating me well and how everything was. I was blown away by their helpfulness. The beds were super comfy too which surprised me for the price of the hotel. They may include many extras free, but they are not skimping in other places to make up for it. Thank you. I'm telling all my family back home in Aus to come to America and stay at the Drury Inn!
“Comfort at a reasonable price”
We enjoyed a 2 night stay with our children & grandchildren. The location was convenient to family events in Edwardsville and Granite City. The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to inquire if everything was satisfactory. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool. The breakfast buffet was adequate and the evening snacks were more plentiful than any other hotel where we have stayed.
“Very Happy Traveler!”
I must say I was very impressed with the service and accomodations. Attending a dance competition with my daughter and we had a very good time. Thank you very much!!!! Shopping and meals were very close which made it easy and comforting to get around.
“Great value”
Great value! The free food was very basic, but if you have kids, it will more than please them. The staff was very nice. The free breakfast was the icing on the cake. I will go to Drury Hotels again. Convienent short drive (15 min) to downtown St. Louis.
“Descent Hotel For The Price”
Drury Inn in Collinsville was a good deal for the price we got. We had a clean, comfortable room and enjoyed the hot breakfast and the evening reception that the hotel offered. Our only complaint was that there were several families with a lot of children being rowdy in the pool and the hotel staff didn't seem to mind. Even after bringing it to the staffs attention no warning of any kind was given to the families. We were not able to enjoy the pool during our stay because we have young children and there was not a calm place in the pool for us to use. I think the staff should have done more to enforce the hotel's pool rules so everyone could enjoy the pool. Other than the problems with the pool we enjoyed our stay.
“Not Impressed”
The hotel was under going renovations which didn't pose a problem during the time we stayed. They had a snack/cocktail hour in the evening, which was nice for anyone from kids to adults. The problem we had was our room was not cleaned. When we looked in the refrigerater there was food in it from the previous people. When we pulled the bedspread down there was black dog hair all over the bed and pee spots. My husband went to the front desk to let them know and someone came right up and changed the sheets. We were also told Drury would give us a free nights stay to be used at a later date. We have not been contacted about our free night yet (It has been a month since our stay). I love animals, but finding someone elses pet hair and pee in the bed I'm going to sleep in is gross. Makes you wonder how many hotels don't change the sheets after someone sleeps in them?
