"You get what ya pay for overall wasn’t bad Very convenient to wonder around the markets main reason I picked it, I also picked it cause bar and restaurant, restaurant wasn’t opening for lunch and dinner and from the signs had been like that awhile. Pool was closed for maintenance and similar to kitchen look like it had been awhile Breakfast was very ordinary But again it was cheap so with all negative I’d probably still stay there again haha "

"What a beautiful hotel! The staff was so kind & friendly. My husband & I bought eSIM cards that didn’t work so we didn’t have cell phone service. Umi & Nina were wonderful & called for most of our taxis (aside from the ones when we were already out). On one of the tours we booked we had a miscommunication about the pickup area & Nina helped call our guide & translate-she saved the day! It was a warm, inviting, intimate stay & we are so thankful! "We stayed in a total of 5 hotels during this vacation trip and Empress provided one of the top service. As a Platinum Hotels.com member, I received a room upgrade with a HUGE complimentary bag of snacks and drinks plus the fridge also had complimentary drinks. The room we received was HUGE!! It was like an apartment in a hotel. There is a 6 person dining table, fridge, living room sectional with TV and desk. The bedroom had a king sized bed with a sitting area also. Great upgrade and customer service. Breakfast is always a HIT in Asia. Huge variety of choices and very good. Hotel is kind of situated in the back of the busy street, which is nice. Night market is a good 20-30 min walk. Very safe because the streets are always busy. Suggestion: to include utensils in the room. There are cups but no utensils especially with a 6-person dining table. Would I stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!! In a heartbeat!!"
