“Great value hotel”
Great hotel lovely friendly staff and very helpful, room was very spacious and would be ideal for a family, my daughter said she felt like she was in a big family at dinner times.
“A lovely little hotel”
Very friendly, well located hotel, everything you could want for a summer stay in B les B. The river is just outside your window, but the sound is not disruptive. I will stay there again.
“A lovely family run hotel”
A lovely hotel with delightful staff. Breakfast was brilliant, plenty of food to get you going for a days skiing. Dinnerr was lovely food, but a bit fish heavy.
“Good hotel”
Room was quite small, but clean an comfortable. Jacuzzi is turned on at 5pm but takes greater than 1 hour to warm up. Not ideal if you get back from the slopes early! Breakfast was good but we didnt try the restuarant in the evening. Walk from the hotel to the gondola is about 10 mins in skiboots. Useful minibus service 3 times in the morning to the gondola. Plenty of parking around the hotel. Staff were friendly in general. Good value overall, would return in the future.
“Great value for money, good base for value skiing”
Great value for money and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Only two things I could fault with this hotel were:- (a) the heating in the rooms was centrally controlled. It was switched on very early in the mornings, and was switched off too early in the mornings and in the evenings, which meant that if you weren't out of your bed by 7am, it got too hot in bed, and in the evenings, if you wanted to be up and around later than 9pm, the room felt very cold. It was impossible to change it and when I asked, I was told not to tamper with the heating control. The dining room was always cold - I had to be sure to wear a sweater and a fleece, and the communal sitting area for the free wi-fi was equally cold. (2) the free wi-fi was unilaterally switched off at 10pm without warning and whether or not you still wanted to use it. Other than that, the hotel was excellent value for money. The meals were superb every night - 4 courses, no choice but it was not a problem if you needed something different - and, for skiing, there is a regular, free ski-bus to the Brides gondola, morning and evening - note it doesn't run between 11.30am and 4.30pm and, very strangely, it doesn't pick up at the gondola at night - you have to walk down into the village which is a pain in ski boots.
“Good hotel, great service, would definitely return.”
Good small very comfortable hotel near the centre of town, easy access to the lift system for the 3 valleys, 5 minutes walk or regular shuttle bus. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner excellent, all great value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Good value”
Friendly staff, very good food, good location near to gondola for access to Meribel valley, reasonable prices except for overpriced breakfast.
“Second visit.”
A small, but friendly hotel ideally siuated to the Olympic lift to Meribel. After 2 visits I will certainly be returning. However, as with most hotels in Brides, the daily evening menu is limited to singles options in each course, but the breakfast is plentiful. There are several restaurants and other hotels, so you should find what you want.
“Good customer service”
Really good service from hotel staff, particularly the lady on front reception and the waiter in the restuarant.
“for budget travellers”
The staff made the Hotel bearable. Breakfast was a bit scarce but the evening meal was good. For budget travellers a great place to stay but if you are looking for home comforts then give this place a miss. Never did find the sauna but the location is second to none.
