“Old and Overpriced”
The staff were great...always kind and prompt. The rooms (which I secured the best they had) were old and in need of maintainence....worms crawling accross the floor that we were informed could not be controlled and poorly decorated (if you can call one picture on the wall decoration. Furniture was old and in need of replacement. It appears that they spend all of their money on the grounds as they are beautiful, and not much on the rooms. In the US a room of this quality would rent for 10% of the price...... just WAY overpriced for what you get, and talking to the help...the money is not going to the labor....I guess the owners think that anything above a tin shack is of high rent value.
“WOW WOW WOW its worth it!!!”
1st class hotel resort, definitely will go back here when i pass by cebu. Its kinda expensive but its all worth it, stay at least 3 days , 2 nights to enjoy all the amenities this resort offers. I have no cons over here because everything is great, friendly staff, great resort, big room, nice bed, I even sleep at the patio with no problem. and very nice view from our room. We buy food at the mall which is a mile away and eat at our room, if you going to do that dont forget plates, fork, cups and water you can buy it on the grocery store.
“Will definitely come back!!”
The hotel was far better than I expected. The restaurants had delicious food and the Kiliminjaro restaurant had an excellent buffet breakfast every morning. There was plenty to do within the facilities such as biking, game rooms, gym, snorkeling, kayaking, jet skis, and other water sports. There are also plenty of saltwater pools to choose from, as well as freshwater. The hotel is also kid-friendly with daily kid activities and an on-site daycare facility. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. This was my first visit to the hotel but my family has visited on numerous occassions and highly recommended it to me. I am looking forward to visiting again!
“The best in customer service”
I can not say enough good things about this hotel. The service was awesome and all of the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. I was only there two days but I felt home sick when I left.
“best resort in Cebu in my book”
we stayed at a few similar resorts in Cebu before but not any more. The value for money at the P.Bay is fantastic. Large number of very nice pools including a salt water one which is the size of a small lake rather than just a pool. Private beach with all the usual water sport activities and a lot of other stuff to do too - my girlfriend loved the shooting range. Restaurants are all nice serving good food from burgers to seafood. Location wise it's not great but that's probably to be expected considering the size of the place, but we didn't really see a reason to leave the resort for weeks anyway. They have little buses going round otherwise you would end walking for ages. All in all, we couldn't really find anything wrong, even the staff was fantastic. Top marks from me...
“Best place for family with young children to in stay in Cebu!”
We were very pleased with our stay at Plantation Bay Resort. The staff were very kind and helpful.
“best swimming experience”
Very nice resort staff are very helpful and friendly.. only some of the guest were very rude...
“Plantation Bay is Paradise”
Plantation Bay is the most amazing resort I have ever stayed at and I will definitely be going back! From the moment we arrived we were in Paradise! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They checked us in, showed us a layout of the property and made sure we were comfortable with everything! The property is amazing! There is so much to do, the food was amazing, the beaches and lagoons were spectacular...it was definitely a slice of Paradise. When staying at Plantation Bay spend the extra money, if possible, and stay in one of the Water's Edge rooms...you will not be disappointed and it is worth every penny!
“Service Beyond the Call of Duty!!”
While waiting for the free airport shuttle to pick us up, my daughter's sandal accidentally fell into the shrimp pond and without hesitation a hotel personnel took his time to go into the pond and got the sandal of my daughter. At first I thought no one could help us but I was wrong. i have a lot of experience from their personnel's and they're very good one. We enjoyed our stay coz my family had a great time and we feel like we're a secluded area away from the city. After the trip we're all energized & inspired. My kids keep on talking about going back next week. Now, they're starting to love the plantation life.
“Plantation Bay”
Definitely not a 5* resort by US Standards. Although there are countless activities to do on the resort, the one thing the resort boasts are their lagoons, of which are not well maintained..very upsetting!
