“Comfortable and convenient”

A very pleasant hotel, close to public transport and on one of the main streets in Catania. With clean and spacious rooms, high decorated ceilings, period furniture, large-screen TVs, wireless internet and extremely friendly and helpful staff, this is an excellent option for anyone visiting Catania, whether for business or pleasure.

“Best kept secret.”

Classic hotel with a fantastic room with balconies high ceilings and a frescoe and bathroom entered via wardrobe ! Wide screen television with cable and optional languages. Absolutely wonderful staff. They put us on to a local restaurant with terrific food and a great owner.Walking distance from the centre of town, train and parking. The Mauritian staff are wonderful, and they speak fluent English, French, Italian, and probably some other languages.

Traveller's tip
Walk from La Vecchia Palma to Peppino restaurant (500m). Grat selection of meals at moderate prices. Al meals come with bread, a sorbet, after-dinner biscuits and a glass or two of home-made lemoncello or a cinnamon flavoured liqueur(puts hair on your chest!)Check out the blacksmith near the Green Park parking lot at the rear of the hotel - it's fascinating, or just sit out on your balcony and marvel at the Italian way of driving. On a clear day you can see Mount Etna from there, too !
