2,000 square meters of luxury boutiques, including Chanel and Christian Lacroix, stand adjacent along La Croissette.

Guests can enjoy relaxing services at U Spa for a surcharge, as well as a fitness facility, a steam room, and a sauna. The Majestic Barriere also houses 15 conference and banqueting rooms. Topped with a blue-sky ceiling, the largest Salon Croisette seats up to 350 for a dinner or 100 boardroom-style. Refurbished in 2003, Salon Diane accommodates up to 675 for cocktails and features contemporary decor of dark wood panels and large windows. There are also 20 break-out rooms and 1 business center with high-speed Internet access (surcharge). The hotel and conference facilities have ramps for guests who need accessible options.

Supervised childcare and activities are organized during July and August.

Fouquet's Cannes - Inspired by famous namesake on the Champs-Elysees, this traditional French brasserie offers French cuisine in a theatrical atmosphere: Egyptian frescoes and statues; burgundy-red furnishings; and black-and-white photos of celebrities from past film festivals. Renowned bar where head barman offers extensive choice of sparkling-wine cocktails. Cigars also offered. Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

La Petite Maison is the latest Nice restaurant to join gourmet restaurants in Cannes, notable for Southern cuisine, opening at the Majestic Barrière in April 2010.

La Petite Maison de Nicole is a gourmet restaurant offering the same Nice and Mediterranean specialties as the main La Petite Maison restaurant. One can enjoy light squash flower fritters, little stuffed vegetables, Brittany artichokes, scrambled truffles, local rock mullet gudgeons, Mediterranean lobster, or calamaretti fritti.

“Very relaxing”

“Perfect”

This hotel is positioned perfectly. When we first arrived, we were given quite a small room overlooking the City so we upgraded and although expensive, was absolutely wonderful. Very large balconies overlooking the front, with swaying palm trees and the opulence of the room was unique. The staff went o.t.t. to ensure comfort and hospitality

“Amazing through out!”

I stayed in the Majestic in mid-August for a week, and i have to say that it was absolutely faultless the whole way through. When we arrived the gentleman at the front desk gave us an upgrade to an amazing suite overlooking the La Croisette and the Riviera, the décor and feel of the room was chic and very homely with excellent modern features and amenities throughout. It was my first time staying in Cannes, and I have to commend ALL the staff on how helpful and professional they were. The standard was never let down. The location was excellent and very convenient to get to the modern side as well the charming old town. The Majestic was recently appointed as a new member to the Leading Hotels of the World, and after experiencing its consistent standard and amazing hospitality I can completely see why. I am never usually one to write reviews but after my stay I felt compelled to share my experience. I will definitley be back once the full renovation is complete.

“Cannes Finest”

“A good hotel spoilt...”

...by an exceptionally offhand woman at the checkout - maybe we weren't wearing enough fur - and slightly surreal prices of the extras: around fifty dollars for breakfast, twelve dollars for a soft drink from the minibar, ten for a single gift-wrapped condom; even the (unmetered) taxi to the station charged exactly twice the going rate. A good hotel, despite the many self-congratulatory notes scattered everywhere, but how grasping it seemed.
