“Cancun Vacation”

The Omni hotel was great, the service and people treated us like thier only guest. I will return and I will stay at the Omni.

“Recommend the OMNI 100%!!”

Since the moment we arrived to the hotel 'til the moment we checked out it was fantastic! We loved the customer servive and hospitality. Every staff member always had smile for us. The hotel itself was nice. It has all we needed and a spectacular view (we had ocean view). The beach water and sand were beautiful, altough, the water was not calm but this is not the hotel's fault. If you are planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel, get the all inclusive package, totally worth it! We recommend this resort 100% and we are already planning to go back! Watch out for the time share or membership people, we encountered them at the airport dressed in black and supposedly they worked for the "tourism company" and we ended up going to a presentation just to save money on some tickets. The presentation was for the "MAYAN PALACE RESORT" and we spent 4 hrs there when it was supposed to be 90 mins. DONT GO THERE, we still have nightmares about the presentation and seller. Anyways, we recommend the OMNI 100%!

“Very nice for a more laid-back experience”

We were overall pleased with the hotel. It is not the nicest Omni I have been to, but the location was great. Two groups in my party asked for king size beds and instead got 2 queens, so I don't know if they even offer kings. I decided it wasn't a big enough deal to ask. Most of the lobby staff were very nice and helpful. The concierge were hit or miss. One was fantastic and another was not very enthusiastic. The waiters and most of the bar tenders were very attentive and respectful. One nice thing about the hotel was that most of the other guests were low key. We went during spring break and there were only a few groups of college students. I think one of the reasons for this was that the hotel was a bit further away from an area of the island where all the bars were and most of the bars at the hotel closed about 5 or 6pm. This was a bit disappointing for me since I was also on spring break, but the lobby bar stayed open until 1am and I much preferred less action than more. The food was excellent. The couple of restaurants had the same menu everyday for breakfast and lunch, but there was a different theme and menu for each dinner which was fun. The hotel is also within walking distance of Aquaworld, where they have all the water activities, so that saved a couple bus tickets (which are less than $1 each way anyway). I would love to go back and enjoy a cocktail on the balcony and take in the beautiful weather!

Had difficulty getting a pool chair some days , half of the chairs had towels on them but didn't see anyone using them. We still had a great time

“Very enjoyable staff”

We were very satisfied with our stay. The resort was clean and well-maintained. We were very happy with the staff - they went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They were especially good with our children. The food was satisfactory - though not much choice for vegetarians - just the same option every meal - salad, rice and steamed vegetables -but these were good! We liked the beach, the beach access and the pools (though cold). We plan on returning - which is the best indication of our stay!

“Nice place to spend vacations”

My son and I were at the hotel for a week and loved it. The staff was so nice, the hotel was very clean, the food was good and the pools were great my son loved them all!! The beach was fine unfortunately it wasn't what I had in mind. I'll definetely come back next year.

“Pleasantly surprised and exceeded Expectations.”

The Omni hotel was beautiful! The pictures on the website do not do it justice at all... and several guests that were there agreed. The accommodations were also wonderful. We were not haggled w/ time share meetings or sign-ups. The attendants on the beach were very attentive. No erosion on the beach as previous travelers commented. The jacuzzi however, could have been hotter, only drawback. The room service was wonderful. As were the concierge service/manager Monica and hotel manager Norma. David was excellent as a he greeted and assisted guest at the front door. We definitely look forward to going again and staying at the Omni. The gym was more equipped than most hotels, the spa and salon were also very well done. Ever where was always clean!!! We were almost deterred by less satisfied travelers...glad we did not cancel our trip!! Also, arrange your transportation prior to arriving.

“Excellent Hotel”

I have only been to Cancun twice, (Oct '06 and Nov/Dec 06, just got back!!) and have chosen to stay both times at the Omni. I dont even want to try another hotel!!! The service is excellent and the rooms and hotel grounds are immaculate. Food is also great with a few different restaurants to choose from. (along with beach service) Beach is clean without seaweed. The Hotel really takes pride in their service and it definitely shows!! Never had to go searching for a Palapa or pool lounge chair. (might have been the time of year we went) I already booked my 3rd trip for Feb at the Omni!! Great for Families, girls/guys weekend away, or couples. Not a party hotel, but you can have however much fun as you want to make!! would definitely recommend all inclusive and ocean view!! It is spectacular!
