“soon to return”
Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.
“Reasonable Price, Like 5-star hotel, everything you need”
The front desk service persons are very helpful, day and night. I rented a car, and the parking is free,right under the hotel, although you have to drive on the left side of the road, it is easy, Cairns is a small city anyway, 5 minutes drive to airport. You can walk from this hotel to the famous night market, about 5 minutes, (although several blocks from map, but the "block" is smaller than USA), tons of people there, it is very safe to walk on the street, and walk 2 minutes to the Explanade Street, next to the beach. If you go on tour, the bus takes you right from the hotel, no problem, there are also some store like 7-11 one block from hotel. Lots of people using the exercise room. Some people played on the tennis court. If you don't use safe, don't call local phone, and don't drink anything from the refrig, you don't need to pay any extra cost than already paid for Expedia.

“igh Class quality”
This hotel really deserves its high rating, The rooms were of an excellent standard and all within was prestine. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant was equally as good.There was no noise from traffic. The hotel is conveniently placed to go into the centre of cairns and if my wife and I should go back we would use the Rydges Esplanade Hotel without question.
“Combination”
The hotel was not hard to find and the staff were friendly. The view over the bay was great and the hotel combined a peaceful, quiet place with a gym, pool, restaurant and bar. I had a great time in Cairns and the hotel was great.
“Excellent Hotel”
The hotel is ideally located with views of the esplanade and bay. The rooms are well maintained and very comfortable. The restaurant has an excellent menu with varying dining times and prices to suit. Everything you need is nearby and the staff are most helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great experience in Cairns.
“Great Value for Money”
Hotel was in a great location, right on the esplande with lovely views. Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel offered a variety of facilites.
“A great place for a short term stay in Cairns”
The level of service & professionalism shown by the staff was very high five stars. The presentation of the room & the hotel in general was excellent four stars. Breakfast was fell a little short of the mark two stars. The dinner offerings were very good four stars. All in all great place for a short term stay in Cairns, it most certainly deserves its four star rating.
“Awesome Service”
We were supposed to go with another couple, but they were unable to attend. The hotel management was outstanding in finding us another room. The gym isn't very big but was pretty good for a gym at a hotel and the pilates area was pretty good as well.
“Great Location Good facilities”
The hotel is situated on the Esplanade about a 10 minute walk to the lagoon. Great location, really nice pool area and a great gym. The staff were helpful and courteous, especially the gym staff who were very keen to help. Overall, great value, great facilities and good location.
