“Well located, reasonable hotel”

Good location, helpfull staff. Not overly expensive by Brisbane standards. Rooms were large enough and really liked the in room laundry facilities. The restaurant downstairs was on the expensive side but there are loads of places for breakfast etc within a block of the hotel. There is a good Thai restaurant just across the street .

“Great start to the ashes”

The hotel was in a great location for us close to the South Bank and the Gabba. The staff within the hotel were helpful and friendly especially with our daughter. From an area to improve all I would request would be a little more variety on the dinner menu for both adults and children

“Very nice hotel and conveninent to Brisbane downtown area”

Hotel must have had a recent upgrade as everything looked new. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Everything was clean and well kept. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Great location.”

Excellent customer service and great location. Requested a quiet, low level room but received the 20 level and opposite a construction site where works commenced at 7am. Bathroom was extremely small and bath linen needs to be updated. Not what I would call a 4 star hotel rather a 3 star.

“"Should not be a 4 star"”

I was a little disappointed with the Sebel, the room we stayed in had a washing machine/ dryer that didn’t work properly and the washing machine did not spin dry, I have a baby so it made it hard with drying the clothes. That was the main reason I picked the hotel because I was told every room had a washing machine and dryer, the lady next doors room did not have one. I must say it was a great location, in my opinion is not a 4 star I have stayed in better 3 star hotels. Don’t make phone calls from the hotel phone, they will charge you an arm and a leg, I learnt for this. The parking is a little over priced at $25 a night too. The room was reasonably clean, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was covered in thick dust. Bed was very comfortable and room service was good.

“Sebel”

the hotel, is in a very god location and very good staff around. But one downside was that no one told me that i had to pay for the car park, so when you do get a good deal add 25.00 - 30.00 per day parking and entrance to the car park is in another street, a bit annoying.

“would definately go back”

room was clean and spatious (seperate lounge and bedroom), close to everything in the city. Only two problems were the pool was being cleaned (on a weekend) and therefore unusable, also a circular saw was going at 11:30pm on a sunday night.

Fortitude Valley (drinking and culture) SouthBank (eat with water dragons) Queen St, CBD (live, local bands, average priced bars, guy who uses spray cans and paper to create amazing art with planets, pyramids and more!)

“Comfortable, Convenient”

This was one of the 'cheaper' 4 star hotels and I thought it was great. They upgraded our room! It was so close to the Queen st Mall and all the great shops!
