“Excellent!”

On arrival there was an error with the my booking. I had booked a one bed apartment and was given a standard room. The hotel was very quick to sort the problem out by the next morning. Although I was disappointed with the mistake I have to say the standard room was very spacious, clean and luxurious. I was moved the following morning, not to a one bed apartment but to a two room apartment, the hotel gave me a complementary upgrade. It more than made up for the error, very spacious, clean all the mod cons, comfortable, a home from home so much so I could quite happily live there. I would recommend this hotel, good service great rooms/apartments couldn't ask for anything more.

Very well kept with friendly staff. Electric current adaptors are available at the front desk. Room service is a bit pricey and there is a charge for each local call, although the duration is unlimited. Our only complaint is minor--we didn't receive the wakeup call we requested on a couple occasions. There is an alarm clock in the room so we just started using that.

I travel all the time and have actually never done a hotel review - however, the service by the staff at this Best Western stood out.

“Family holiday”

After a trip to the Dandenongs to ride on Puffing Billy we found the hotel very easily although our car GPS didn't recognise Whitehorse road. Lovely furnishings with plenty of room for a big family. We were able to relax on the deck with a drink while the kids watched the TV. The DVD player didn't work. We were also disappointed that the pool was not in the same building but across the road (6 lanes) in the original hotel building. We drove to go out for dinner but there was a cafe close by for breakfast. The next morning we had to cross the road again to give the keys back then it was an easy drive into town.

Quiet, very clean,comfortable and friendly. The motel has free undercover parking for guests. The pool and pool area is clean and pleasant to use. Although the food is good room service prices seem a little too steep. Central to all access roads for easy travel . 5-10 minute walk to trains. Cafe across the road is great.

Lovely room - toilet and been used prior to our arrival and not flushed Phew!! Food was very expensive and left alot to be desired.

The service was so bad. The receptionist was not helpful and did not seem to care. Lack of professional attitude and empathy with clients. Definitely need training. Housekeeping kept annoying us as they have to clean the room by 12:00 PM. They ignored the do not disturb sign on the door. Location of hotel is inconvenient and it takes 30-40 minutes driving to get to the city or any other location in Melbourne. Would not recommend it to anyone. The hotel is catogorized as 4 stars it should not be more than 2 stars.
