“Very comfortable...would definately recommend!”
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was a very good size, nicely designed, clean and felt brand new. There was a balcony looking at the old port. As fas as I know there is jacuzzi, sauna, gym, beauty cabinet, but we didn't go to any of those. The hotel would have been perfect if it wasn't for the hotel restaurant. The food was not nice at all and VERY much overpriced. And one more thing, there is no TV in English in the room, so brush up on your French :)
“Best choice in La Ciotat”
Great room. Not much of view, maybe not worth the extra price to see the harbor. Rooms in front are not too noisy contrary to other reviews.
“Excellent hotel - excellent location”
This hotel is made from modern materials and technology to a high standard, and is therefore quiet and comfortable. Our room faced the harbour and therefore had a great view. This side of the hotel is on the street and can be a bit noisy on a Saturday night. We liked the facilities - including a safe, tea making facilities. The bed was really comfortable. The room was very clean and well decorated. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was great. We did not try the breakfast.
“great hotel and service, leisure facilities a bit disappointing”
The hotel was modern and sleek and our room was a good size. The staff were friendly and helpful and were happy to make restaurant and taxi bookings etc. The location was great, right in the harbour with a nice selection of restaurants on the doorstep. The only downside for me were the leisure facilities. Had we had the kind of weather I expected in the South of France it would have been fine but we managed to hit a weekend of violent thunderstorms and torrential rain and clearly the leisure facilities are designed purely for hot weather. There was a jacuzzi on the roof and it would have been great to sit up there in between downpours but unfortunately it appeared to be set to cold and was largely unattended. When I did find a staff member they said it didn't have a hot setting and this meant we couldn't really make use of the leisure facilities.
“A little gem”
La Ciotat is a small port town and a great place to relax for a few days. Best Western hotel is very modern, clan and with excellent facilities. Hotel is decorated to very high standard and ahs a fantastic infinity pool and jacuzzi on the roof.
