“Excellent Hotel at Great Value”

We stayed in this hotel while visiting Barcelona for the Spanish F1 Grand Prix. Overall a very nice hotel. It is a short way out from Barcelona centre, and lacking amenities nearby, but not too much for it to ruin the ease of your holiday as while it is not in the centre of Barcelona, it is within relatively easy reach. It takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the hotel from Sants station in the centre of Barcelona, via a trip on L3 line of the metro to Espanya Station, changing onto L8 line at Espanya to Almeida station. The hotel is around a 7 minute walk from the station. Must also say that the metro system is very good. The hotel is new, extremely clean with very modern furnishings. The desk staff were also most helpful when asking for help with certain tourist attraction locations and transport links. Also, the restaurant was quite sufficient for an evening meal. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking to travel to Barcelona on a budget, but who also wants a nice clean hotel to stay in.

“Very nice hotel”

Very good value for the money i have paid. The room was clean and quite comfortable ( AC and good internet connection). The hotel reception was always ready to help me with any kind of information. The distance from the FGC Almeda was a 10 min walk distance. With this train one can reach the center of the city very easy.The neighbourhood was nice and i had no problems when i returned to the hotel late night. I strongly reccomand this hotel !

“Close to airport, some stuff within walking distance, very clean”

Overall a nice hotel, I wanted something close to the airport to catch my flight home. This is about a 12 euro cab ride I think. The wifi only works in the lobby. There is a convenient bar there if you want a drink or take one up to the room. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The mall is right across the street and there is also a gas station with food right next to it. Also, a very cool restaurant just to the NE (10 minute walk) called La Terraza.

strongly recommend this hotel. sraff pleasant and bilingual, close to large dept. store and restaurants. it is quiet, and safe. nearby restaurants.

“Good Place Near the Airport”

The Check in person was very helpful. Even though their cafe was closed she made me espresso. The breakfast the next day was good. If you have an early morning flight to the airport, it is a good place. However, if you wanted to sight see in Barcelona that it is quite far from downtown. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and the staff is very nice.

“Fine for a stopover near the airport”

We stayed here for one night when we needed a place convenient to the airport. It is pretty far out of town, so not really convenient to the highlights of Barcelona. But the neighborhood is not bad, and it is only about a 15 minute walk to a street with several decent restaurants, cafes, and bars. The hotel itself is a tad spartan (just to take one small example, the bathmat is big enough to stand on only if your feet are not too big), but perfectly serviceable. The wireless internet worked well. The front desk staff were very helpful. All in all, fine.

“Outskirts Campanile”

Nice hotel. Very clean and staff were friendly. It is out of the centre but it is only a 20 minute train ride from Almeda train station (10-15 min walk from hotel) to the centre (Espanya Train Station). Most staff speak English though the restaurant and bar staff struggled with some English. Food was ok but nothing special
