“Short break”

Good clean resort, friendly staf suitable for couples and families . Dining options meet everyone's taste, breakfast excellent . Wifi and PC in main foyer area is free, rooms incur a charge. Definitely would stay at the Westin again

“Family holiday at the Westin”

The hotel had very high standards, but was quite expensive. Meal and drinks were almost the same prices we'd pay in Australia. The heavenly beds were quite ordinary. We stayed at the Padma in Legian before and their beds a were much better. The rooms are quite small and the bathrooms even smaller. The toilet was a small cubicle you could not stretch your arms in. The rooms could definetly use remodelling. We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children and ended up walking around beds in the room. But again, i cannot fault the staff, they were all very attentive and helpful at all times. The italian manager there is very friendly and would always come and check on us to make sure we were all happy. The hotel's spa was also quite expensive. We had a massage there and outside the hotel for a fraction of the price. The ones we had outside were better. Even hair braiding was cheaper at the beach bungalows. For dinner i would recommend the restaurants at the Bali Collection for variety or the restaurant at the hotel next door, the dishes are almost half the price. Nusa Dua is a place for relaxing, for shopping, i would recommend staying at Seminyak.

“Spa price subjected to change”

Overall experience was quiet good but I have to mentioned our experience with Spa management .On first day I received Spa price list it in USD$ price and afterward in same day they billed us in Indonesian rupiah. Then I realized that rupiah price was 25% higher than USD$ so I questioned the Spa staff about and they replied that USD$ price list is not valid! We present the USD$ price list to convinced them that they are not allowed to raise their price while guests are already check in. So they finally accepted to bill us in the USD$ price.

“Good and relaxing”

This is a great hotel but could do with some updating, particularly the rooms. They cater really well for families, while there is enough to keep singles or adults relaxed. The rooms could be a little better. The beds are fantastic, but the bathrooms need some work. Particularly when there is not a door on the toilet! No privacy! The price of drinks and food is ok, but the 21% government tax and service charge really adds up. Use the happy hours and bring some stuff in with you to keep costs down.

“Convention type hotel”

If you go to Bali to feel like you're in Miami, then this is the place for you. Mediocre food, terrible service in restaurants, crowded, very visible pool area, lame beach - on the positive side the rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Clearly a convention center booking, not a place for a family vacation.

“This is an excellent holiday hotel with great service. We shall return - best holiday ever”

This is an excellent holiday hotel with great service. Three of us (Mum, Dad & 11 yrs old daughter) checked in the Westin for 7 nights in Aug 2010. Room was modern and had everything we needed and breakfast was included in the very reasonable price. The hotel complex included a superb swimming pool / bar facilities and kids club. Beach is fantastic and can be accessed directly from the hotel grounds. Security is good (no beggars, or other riff-raff trying to sell you cheap souvenirs etc). Access to adjacent 5 star hotel facilities is also available without any fuss etc. etc. Highly recommended and I guarantee we shall return on a similar package. Note: If you are going out to other places; don’t take the hotel transport (very expensive). The Bluebird take service is very good and only a third of the price.
