“lovely hotel”

Enjoyed our stay had everything we needed with most cities we had to pay for parking $18 which we were aware of and next door to Hotel.Would thoroughly reccomend this hotel due to price and location

“Best experience in years!”

This place was really great! The rooms are basically small apartments, with kitchen, washer and dryer, lounge and bedroom. The property is new, so the condition of the room was excellent. The location is a little off the main center of town (5-10 mins walk) but that takes you away from the crowds. And price is very reasonable. I travel a lot, and this is the best hotel experience I've had in years! Highly recommended.

“Good value for money”

The hotel was great - I booked a two-bedroom apartment with a colleague and it seemed to be very good value. The only minor annoyance was the fact that the two rooms had an opaque glass window at the top of the connecting wall: presumably this Other than that, I can't find anything to fault in this establishment.

“Nice accomodations”

We arrived early, and were unable to check in before the designated time, However, we were allowed to use the small bathroom in the gym to shower and clean up. Room was adequate size. Small, functional kitchen. Unfortunately, the washing machine was broken, so that was a bit inconvenient. But overall, it was nice, clean and functional. Only 10 minute walk to the Harbour, which was nice.

“Best Place to stay in Auckland!”

Great Hotel/Apartment! Kitchen was great with a supermarket around the corner! Had washer/dryer to do laundry which is great for traveling light! Location was perfect downtown, easy to walk most places!

“Awesome time in Auckland”

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel in Auckland and we loved it each time. It was so nice and spacious. The kids had lots of room to themselves, and we had a bedroom to ourselves! The kitchen allowed me to cook their favorite foods, which was important since we have one with a food allergy. Great grocery just around the corner and magnificent coffee in any direction! A short walk to shopping and the waterfront. Awesome balcony for fresh air and a great view. It's a great hotel, there is nothing lacking!

“Waldorf Stadium Auckland Not as expected”

Location: At the end of Quay St. (main tourist street), so the apartment is a little far away from the activities. Parking: Extremely expensive about $25 a day considering the location, the apartment should provide a better rate for the guest. Apartment: The apartment is a lot smaller than the picture. I, personally, don't like the way it lays out and the bedroom doors are sliding glass with no privacy at all. The bedrooms are small and not functional for me. With the sliding glass door, if you cook, the smell will keep you up all night. Services: C/I was quick and everything went well. I was so disappointed about another service. I called reception for the information on the local call charge and was told that each local call to 1-800 and phonecard call will be charge 50 cents. I told the receptionist that I would like to call the phonecard and was confirmed about 3 times that each call will be 50 cents. When I checked-out, I was chraged 25 cents per minute. I argued with the chrages and was told that "you used the service, if you have any complain, please write to the company and handed a feedback card". I will definitely contact the company. If you want to stay here, beware of all the charges before you use it.

Area recommendations

Beware of Auckland fish market. Our rental car got broken into and our bags got stolen from the parking lot within an hour.

Getting around

If you want to get a rental car, beware of local rental company that affaliated Nu car Rental. They charged in different currency and does not have the same vehicle as promised available for you.

“Great value close to downtown”

Very comfortable new apartment with cooking facilities. Small balcony without great view, but nice to gain fresh air. Only a short walk to supermarket, then not far to main transport hub and downtown. City circuit bus out the front only $1.60 per trip.

Area recommendations

Great shopping and restaurants in Ponsonby Road.
