“Location, Location, and Excellent Quality”

Very pleased with this hotel. You can walk to Viaduct Harbour and the Ferry's in 10 minutes. The hotel is very accommodating and well taken care off. The breakfast included is ala carte and exceptional. Could have had eggs benedict every day if we wished. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms elegant and nicely done. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if we went to Auckland again.

“A wonderful hotel”

The Westin Auckland is a wonderfully relaxing and beautiful hotel in a less bustling part of the city. The service is excellent and the rooms are in great condition. We had a quiet room that was perfect for resting after the long plane ride from the US. The bar and restaurant are appealing and good. I would be eager to stay here on a future visit.

“Luxury and Convenience”

Excellent choice. Right on the harbor. Only 5 months open. Rooms are spacious with all the amenities. Within walking distance to all harbor shops and downtown. I highly recommend and look forward to another visit.

“One of the Best Hotels Around”

I am absolutely in love with this hotel. Everything, from the location to cleanliness, from staff to dining - this place has it all. Stayed there last year for the first time, and had to return again. The fitness centre could have been slightly larger, but that's a minor point, as it still had all of the equipment for a good workout. When you are there, do try the Q restaurant. The quality of food, service and a selection of wines will make you want to come back over and over. Top notch all in all!

“A Treat...”

The Westin Hotel in Auckland is exceptional.. The room - new, clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable bed and luxurious linen is of the highest standard. The staff from the valet parking staff to the waiters in the restaurant are professional and caring and nothing was too much for them.. Despite the wet, wintry weather -the Westin experience was "warm and fuzzy" .. Thanks to all the staff who could not have been friendlier and nicer!!

“Great location, great hotel”

Our flight arrived c. 6AM and we caught a shuttle bus to the hotel. While we couldn't check in right away because the rooms were still full, the staff took our luggage and opened up the spa to us so we could shower, etc,. They promised they would make getting us into a room a priority, which they did. Our room faced the street side, which wasn't very glam, but it was extremely stylish and comfortable. We didn't eat in the restaurants, but the bar - "The Office" was pretty cool - we arranged to meet friends there and the bar staff were extremely good. Also, in the evening the hotel lobbies are lit with candles - beautiful.

I really liked the hotel -- it has a spa feel to it, but it is also quite appropriate for business meetings. The staff is great. The hotel is in a quiet area but is conveniently located to attractions, restaurants, etc. The surrounding harbour area is very serene. I would definitely stay here again.
