“Excellent hotel, great location”

No fault to find with this hotel; everything in excellent condition in the room. Pool and jacuzzi on the roof with views of the Sky Tower. Very convenient location, with loads of restaurants nearby and close to waterfront. Only criticism that interent in the room was very expensive at NZ$0.86/ minute, but cheaper options are nearby; see tip below

“Department store that's not just for shopping”

The upgraded suite I received upon check in was wonderful. It was nice and roomy for 3 people to spread out and relax in. The location was perfect for walking over to Queen Street to enjoy all the shopping. The exercise facility on the roof was a good way to enjoy some of the city view. The hotel was across the street from one of Auckland's major tourist attractions: The Sky Tower. Perfect!

“Wonderful Auckland Hotel”

This hotel is near Sky City, and the CBD. Within walking distance of most things you are going to want to do within Auckland. The staff are great. I've stayed at this hotel 6 times and will always consider this to be my hotel if they have space available.

“impressive building”

After a long flight, we were pleased to be upgraded to a suite, with a separate bedroom. Because we were so tired, we ate in the hotel restaurant and it was an excellent meal. Our room looked down into the restaurant atrium below which was a nice touch - but we would have liked a window which opened, preferably to the outside. The hotel is centrally situated but is an atmosphere-free zone after dusk.

“Would stay here everytime I went to Auckland”

We had a one bedroom apartment, it was massive, with a balcony and the staff were great. The hotel is near everything including the skytower which we jumped off (very scary). Could not recommend this hotel more.

“Loved the Heritage”

Stayed here with my family of four in October, 2011 and we just loved this place. We chose the hotel because we had heard the New Zealand rugby team had stayed there a few weeks earlier and we got a decent rate. The hotel doesn't look super fancy from the outside and the lobby is nice but not that impressive. Our room, however (and we chose the cheapest room available) was fabulous. Huge ceilings and our two double beds were separated by a sliding wall. Everything was super clean and comfortable and having the kitchen in the room was a big plus as we had two small children. The location was perfect, just around the corner from the Sky Tower and very much in the center of Auckland. HIghly recommend staying here!

“Great Location and Great Service”

We had several rooms as there were 8 of us traveling together, and while we each had different room types - they were all nice. Some had a stove, others a washer/dryer, others a balcony. All were clean and comfortable. Beds were fabulous! Lounge was nice meeting place and good to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was ridicously expensive, but there were other good options around the corner. Good gift shop too onsite. Movenpick ice cream is just a block away, as was lots of good coffee shops. The Viaduct is a short walk. Nice to stay here and avoid the viaduct night noise for a good nights sleep too. We will make this our go to place in Auckland in the future!
